Catch22 has already said they are going to a ticket system for BUGS which will eliminate the ability to discuss errors as a community. You will also have to provide all the links yourself versus supplying a couple and allowing other people to contribute their examples.

Lets let them know whether the users like that idea or not

Seems like a very very bad idea. Another way for problems not to be publically discussed? Game is broken threads are locked. And now there will be no "this seems broken" forum?

I'd like to know the thinking behind this proposed change.

i think it all depends on how it is set up. losing public discussions is a huge negative tho. another huge negative is the ability for a single person to provide the required number of examples for it not to be immediately closed as working as intended. i had a bug thread a few seasons closed and moved off the server as working as intended but a few weeks later, a fix was implemented. secrecy is not a good thing.

+1. There's been very little benefit from "the community" "discussing" anything in the Bugs forum. If a ticket system lets them better aggregate and identify issues, it can't get here soon enough.

A ticketing system would not stop agents from being able to chat in the forums and have others help provide them with the extra examples to submit a ticket with.

I love the idea of a Ticket System and have been fighting for it for some time tbqh.
