Ever since I installed FF 10, my new equipment script just shows to small blank boxes. Is there a newer version out?

Which equipment script?

I have 2 that are not working...

GLB Buy new equip set

&

GLB Outfitter

Works for me, as long as you don't pick black. Need to select colour, click "new set" and then refresh page. Then click equip all and refresh again. Much less of a pain than the standard GLB way of doing it, anyway.

I can't select anything. The boxes are much smaller than before, probably only a few chars long, with nothing inside them. I went ahead and downloaded and installed the script again, still doesn't work.

I downloaded Tampermonkey for Chrome and installed the script, it works fine there, so I am good.

I accidentally updated Firefox & I'm dealing with this same issue so that's probably it.

Season 26: ~1,434,000, 298k max (32.4% of the total existing dots) <--- This is why!
Season 25: ~246,000, 188k max (And yes, it was active for one day last season as well. They got greedy.)
Season 24: ~22,000, 7k max
Season 23: ~43,000, 13k max
Season 22: ~25,000, 9k max
Season 21: ~25,000, 9k max
Season 20: ~31,000, 10k max
Season 19: ~37,000, 13k max

Scripts to automatically buy equipment aren't creating and then retiring pointless players to be stored in perpetuity in the database. Even the original player roller didn't have permanent effects. It used bandwidth, but that was all.

Okay enough to ignore because the time spent doing all that creating/assigning/training/retiring for such a meagre gain will prevent people from ever building players to that extreme. If it weren't scripted, the problem wouldn't be nearly as severe and if you hadn't distributed it, you'd probably still be using it. You made it too obvious to ignore.

*Edit: And FWIW, I don't consider it an exploit, just a massive misuse of server resources and I would have killed it too.

That is awesome work pabst with the charts! That's hilarious, and yes, I agree, definitely a good idea to kill it.

If this is accurate, I would be very curious to know why it wasn't shut down sooner. If 188k dots were created in one day, you would think Bort would have noticed something.

I don't believe it was cheating (I didn't even use the script - no new players for a few seasons) and I think the powers that be owe Mith an appology for making him look like a cheater, but I have no problem with them shutting it down.

Getting back on track, I can select options on my existing players, but don't want to click new in case it charges me BT

Maybe they didn't think it would get this out of hand. But just keep in mind, Some of those days during the post season where the servers seemed to be crapping out. Now we know one possible cause for it. Since it wasn't immediately put to a stop would indicate that they perhaps didn't have anything tracking how many players were being made per X period of time.
The people running the scripts however might have known and said nothing (and continued right along with it)

I agree with pabst, perhaps not cheating but smashing the GLB servers with this script was irresponsible and had to be shut off.

Great point.
But you're forgetting that Bort RAGEQUIT a long time ago
