If I am writing back and forth to a coach or co-owner about a team in the middle of free agency things are going to come to mind that need PMing and wanting to send more than 3 PMs simply happens.

It would be one thing if we could UnSend an unread PM, but we can't.

So get rid of or raise that limit, even if its only raised for GMs on your team or something.

Or let us unsend.

Its the civilized thing to do.

Or use a team forum or private forum.

I don't want to get away from the computer and come back to shit load of PM's about shit that could've waited for an answer to the first one.

It was put in to stop griefing and does a good job of that. -1 to reducing it.

Possibly people could be able to make whitelists of senders they don't ever want blocked, so you still can't spam someone who doesn't like you or doesn't know you; but if you choose to add someone to your whitelist, then you choose to receive as many messages from them as they want to send.

Put more thoughts into one PM instead of every time you have a new thing you fling off a PM.

And while the idea of PM retraction sounds good, it could also lead to people misbehaving. For example sending nasty PM's to people and then retracting them once they're read so there is no proof.

I also agree with myd, if you are communicating with people on your own team or network, buy a private forum and conduct your business there. It's a lot easier to work with and they're pretty cheap at 100 flex. If you need to keep something private between two people, then use a PM.

Pushing the limit beyond 3 just makes it more likely that someone having a temper tantrum can spam out important messages from your inbox.

This feature is in place to stop spam. There are plenty of alternatives that have been mentioned. PFs, Team Forums, Chat, Team Chat.

If you have sent 3 PMs, then the person doesn't want to hear from you or they are not logging on.

My favorite is to buy a team that can send offers to people that PM block me. That way I can fill the text box on the offer with all kinds of nasty stuff.
