Since GLB has changed the training method and the training percentage doesn't add to the attribute until it reaches 100%, I suggest that a player upon reaching plateau should be able to trade in all their training percentages and trade them in for 1 attribute point increase in any attribute.

This would only be available once all training points are exhausted and to avoid "gaming" the system would allow for only an increase on 1 attribute point, no matter how much the training percentage adds up too as long as it adds up to more than 100% total. (In other words even if your percentages add up to over 200%, you still only get the 1 attribute point.

Just a simple way to clean up the builds at plateau and allow the left over training percentages to possibly mean something...

So what you're saying is you want people to make sure they trained a couple of really low attributes to 50%+ before day 280 so they can get a +1 attribute point.

thumbs down from me on this one. Sorry.

Zeroing out the percentages and converting them to decimals on the individual attributes makes more sense.

I can agree with this.

And even better idea....

I quite like having to balance out the final few training points, and would not appreciate the dumbing-down of converting training percentage gains to decimals in general, so can't support anything which even slightly leans in this direction.

I don't like either tbh, if the percentages bother you that much spend a little time with the VPB and work it out so that you don't have any attributes carrying over big %s. Pretty much what Mandy said:

I'd be interested to know how this would affect players coming out of the plateau -- or unboosted players, which no longer have a plateau.

It would not affect them at all. This would only happen when dot reached plateau so for non-boosters, nothing would change. When dot gets out of plateau, training starts again with everything back at 0% trained like it does at creation.

I think this is more of a OCD thing with people. I doubt it would make a huge difference in a dots performance. Most agents calculate the % and manage their training points so there are no big % left at plateau.

I would be for zeroing them out though.

If compulsory -1

If it's an option that people can convert their players %, then maybe. Seems though like someone who is near their last season before plateau will just train attributes to get as many of them to .99 as they could so they max out their attributes a little higher overall.

Which was my initial thought and why I capped to gain at +1 to an attribute. Even if someone tried to game the system and get all attributes trained up to 99%, they would still only get +1 to their attribute of choice. It seemed to me like an easy way to allow the unused and useless training %'s left over to mean something while reducing the potential for exploit.

As much as I appreciate doing tons and tons of math on a daily basis, I prefer not to have to do it in my free time when I already do it for my job (that's not to say that I'm totally opposed to it). I can see where you're coming from in this regard, but I think the suggestion will ultimately be better for the casual player, and in turn the future hypothetical growth of GLB.
