Haven't seen this mentioned much if at all.

But since there is the SP bonus after you boost so many times (thus spending so much cash)

How about some sort of benefit to having maintained ownership for a long time?

For instance, I bought my team day 1 season 2, Maintained ownership straight on thru. No gutting, no demoting no benefit.

Doesn't it seem like there should be some love for us folks who have continued to provide teams to house everyone's dots for bort?

Agreed.

I have owned mine since around D8 of S2 and there is absolutely no benefit.

Having said that, I also am sure this will quickly become one of the NGTH topics.

+1. There should be something like a free season for every 10 seasons you continue to own the same team.

even if someone were to argue (and pointlessly i might add) how about the benefit to recruitment by showcasing the stability of a franchise? No effect. If you dont win and win now, the past 10 seasons of maintaining a team dont mean squat to the vast majority of folks.

and keep in mind, i'm going back to the dark ages of GLB too- no D leagues like today. If it werent for these squads where would Borts little cash cows have lived?

I'm not even saying every so many seasons, leave that up to the evil overlords. just something. where's the luv ?

Even if its not "free bonus season" related.. something harmless like a commemorative award for the team page would be nice...

I think we all know how I am going to vote.

Some kind of recognition for long time owners is definitely being overlooked.

+1 here are my suggestions

1) 5th Season of Team Ownership: Trophy on Owner and Applicable Team Pages for Bronze Owners Trophy, 5+ Seasons of Continual Team Ownership with Team Name and Season bought. Converts to Silver, Gold and Platinum and Diamond on 10th, 15th and 20th and 25th seasons of ownership.

2) 10th season of team ownership, admission into a special VIP Owner Forum where veteran owners can discuss trades, strategy and whatever they want in aptly named subforums, ALSO includes VIP Owner Suggestion Forum where these wizened sages tell Bort what they want from the game. Bort promises to post in it at least once a quarter.

3) 15th season of team ownership, the interest rates on your team loans is decreased by X%, 10-25 or so.

4) 20th Season of Team Ownership, Stadium Upgrade. Your city provides funding for a stadium upgrade. This adds a level 400 VIP seating area which provides crazy high ticket prices for a few thousand high income fans and also allows the selling of high priced Champagne, Caviar, Baguette, Old Stadium Memorabilia concession items.

5) 500 Win Club. Owners who reach this lofty goal, of having 500 wins in a single team they own, get another personal and team Trophy aptly named and inscribed and also gain admittance to a special Owner Hall of Fame section that lists them in order of win percentages or maybe just total wins.

I'm okay with a little plaque or trophy but that's it.

In theory, I agree with all of the suggestions -- But 500 wins is too high with a 16 game season.

Including playoffs, that would be 25 perfect seasons.

Well the idea would be it would be your ultimate Owner award, to come even after your 25 season Diamond Trophy.

But yes, certainly it could be lowered to 300 or what have you.

Anything, just make the game more intresting by doing little things, before everyone dies at least
