Won't open my atts but I'm at a complete loss and am considering retiring my DEs if this is the type of production I can expect. Strength and speed 50+, agility right about there, vision 30+. Perhaps it's not the greatest build, but Jesus Christ. I'm not normally one to come and complain about my players not performing, blah blah blah.

Is it really just a lack of special abilities? I have 3's across the pass-rush tree with only one point in big sack (I just now realized the double entendre there, HA).

I'm not asking for the magic answer, but is anyone having any success against even leveled and higher competition? If this were a DE in the NFL, his ass would've been benched long ago. Thanks for any input anyone has.

big sack is useless dont put it

more agility. try to get it above str and speed. prolly you have enough str for long time since str is only to not be pancaked. up agi and speed.

Yeah, the point is big sack is the equipment bonus from level 8. I never put a point in it. I'm open to trying anything at this point.

It sounds like you have a good base, you're probably just a little short in a couple of areas. First, lets talk about natural stats (i.e. w/o equip bonuses) are you at or near natural 48 in each of STR, AGI, and SPD? If any of those are lacking, then get them to natural 48 ASAP. Second, examine how your equip is spread out -- are they concentrated on STR and AGI? If not, re-allocate your equip. Third, is your blocking stat at or near 20? If not, train it to mid 20's.

Strength is at it, speed's a level away, and agility is 6 off. I alternate training Blocking and Confidence. I guess it really is that he's just short of where he needs to be. I'll have a bit more patience with it until I max out those and get my SA's pumped a tad more. Appreciate the advice, fellas. Best of luck to you.

Against o-linemen, I didn't notice much out of Break Through until I had it at level 4.

On my players at other positions, the 4-6 range on a special ability seems to be where they start to kick in on a somewhat consistent basis, at least to the point of perhaps seeing some improvement in production.

The problem is that youre a RE, they never get stats like the LE does because all the runs go to the LE
