using the pretense NGTH is a lame reason as to why a thread is locked. want an example? here I'll give you one.

here is the OP of a thread that was locked arbitrarily without actually reading the OP.

building your player is fun. watching replays of dots move isn't. they should redo the representation of the sim. I realize that this would be difficult to achieve, and entail a lot of coding, but it seems to me that it would be more rewarding to watch your player in a replay if it actually looked like real football. take madden for example, the game wouldn't keep selling if the graphics still looked like it was for super nintendo.

thread was locked citing the NGTH. so lets see what the NGTH says in regards to my OP.

-Make the game playable like Madden (that's not the kind of game this is, if you want to play Madden, play Madden)

this is the only thing I could find that might possibly relate to my OP, and that is only because it says madden in it, and I made wait for it.......................an analogy using the largest selling football video game franchise ever, and the annual update to the games graphics. now there is nothing on the ngth list about updating replay graphics so maybe the mods should either learn some reading comprehension or actually read the entire OP and not skim over a completely legitimate suggestion and lock it.

all five of these threads were locked within minutes of each other, all citing the ngth list, but if you read the OP, you can't find any of them on the ngth list. I also doubt the mod(same mod even) had the time to read the op before deciding to lock it. so does this one regular mod, get the final say as to what actually is on the ngth list? because it hasn't been updated with any of this stuff.

the first thread made casual un-casual, 2 would make GLB have to change the season and the structure, 3 wouldn't fix anything and I think it's NGTH, 4 benefits the wealthy hence rich get richer and 5 allows for multi accounts to own teams without paying for flex ever

not on the list. I checked. what ever your opinions on the matter are I cannot comment. but as far as the rules stated in the stickied threads go it broke no rules. unless they have a subset of rules untold to the user base.

Hell this thread blatantly breaks the no joke thread rule and it made it to epic suggestions.

all of the linked threads have this posted by the admin who locked it referring to the list. reinforcing my belief that the OP's in the locked threads weren't actually read and just skimmed over and arbitrarily locked.

you're wrong. the ngth list was posted by jed and updated by no one named catch 22. I'm also not posting a thread about locked threads. I'm making a suggestion that mods/admins don't lock threads arbitrarily, using the aforementioned locked threads as examples. they were threads locked citing the ngth list or NGTH as the linked list thread says is the short from reference for the list of things that aren't going to happen. It's black and white. they post NGTH that means it's on the NGTH list so thread gets locked. all the threads linked are in no violation of said list or forum rules.

also if all these things are determined to ngth, then add them to the list. then there is no confusion. punishing people for not breaking the rules is dumb.
