Please do not NGTH this, this is NOT building a player with more than 3 boosts a season etc. Its a CPU that is a single season rental. Let Bort see the concept please.
This idea is floated as a way to resolve a scenario such as we faced this off season where there were physically not enough TEs at the National Pro level to fill the rosters of the teams.
If a position (TE etc) is in very high demand in a given age group, then let a player owner build at a high cost in flex a custom built Deluxe CPU style dot using a mechanism like the virtual player builder script. Add to that an ability to buy and equip AEQ and CEQ and set the Deluxe CPU dots tactics etc.
The dots age would be the minimum required to sign in that teams age bracket.
The dot would be signed to the owners team automatically.
The dot's cost would be some percentage of the flex it would have taken to build a player of that age and numbers of boosts and CEQ etc. The exact percentage is open to debate, 25%, 50%, 100% whatever Bort thinks makes the idea not cost him flex but generate flex instead. The primary concept is to use only as a stop gap in positional shortages, not as an alternative to building dots in the normal way. A way to get better CPUs not to avoid building players. Since you would be paying something like 2200 to 6600 or some fraction thereof plus CEQ cost to built this one timer dot I think its safe to say it would be an idea only used in dire situations and not open to much in the way of exploits.
The CPU dot can only be built between days -5 and day 2 of a season and is automatically deleted upon the next Day 40. This range is debatable but my thoughts are that this would give the team owner a full off season and some of the pre-season to shake a dot lose from the D Leagues or another team before letting him use a Deluxe CPU instead.
The CPU dot would appear in the owners stable of players in its own tabbed area, but would necessarily be built from scratch in relation to a particular team (to ensure it could be built at all) and can only be signed with that team. It can not be traded and if released at any time it is automatically deleted.
