Multi-training is when you train several different attributes at once. It costs more training points, but you get bonuses from doing multiple ones at the same time. You have to unlock it by spending bonus tokens, and I would recommend unlocking carrying, agility, and either strength or catching (depending on if you want him to be a tackle breaker or pass catcher). You get to pick the first option in the four-way multi-train without unlocking it. You should also be enhancing your training if you haven't already.
