It's one thing if the administrators of this site look at a suggestion and decide that it's not worth the time to include the suggestion. But, I have spent $80 on this game in the last 4 months just to have 4 boosting players and a few scrubs. Before the end of this season, I'm going to have to dump another $40 into the game. I have never seen a game that costs $20 a month to play.

Now, I have made a choice to play casual because, while I am at the computer all day and it's easy to check messages, I don't have time to create a full blown AI and scout every game for an hour or more. Just because I play casual, it doesn't mean that I am not spending money, and it doesn't mean that I am a second class citizen.

I am sick and tired of making a good suggestion for casual leagues and having the thread be bombarded with people telling me to "Play Regular". I do not have time to play regular and I enjoy the casual game. If play regular is a valid response to a suggestion for casual leagues, then "Play Madden" is a valid response for suggestions made for non casual leagues. Just because casual is "less" it doesn't mean it's "nothing". If the answer to every casual suggestion really IS "play regular" - then do me a favor and scrap the casual leagues right now and I'll take my money and go find another game to play.

It's one thing if the administration looks at a suggestion and decides it's not worth the time to implement, but I am really really sick and <expletive omitted> tired of people who don't even play in a casual league coming in and telling me I'm a piece of crap because I play casual. It is not constructive, useful, or anything even remotely on the positive side of any scale you want to line it up to.

Just as it is against the forum rules to post joke suggestions, it should be against the rules to say "Play Casual". Seriously. I'm livid.

You know there is nobody forcing you to spend that much money on this game?

If you want a stable experience that is not going to receive updates play casual. The admins have been pretty clear that they don't plan on adding any new features and I think that is the right decision:

Casual is its own thing, completely separate from the regular leagues which are constantly evolving new features (at least until we go out of beta). Trying to make it regular-lite is a bad idea for everyone involved.

The point is, this is a suggestion forum. It is for suggestions. The answers from people like you always seem to be "Piss off" just because I play casual. But the notion that any suggestion for casual has inherently less value than any suggestion for regular leagues is ludicrous. If you have a valid reason why it's not a good idea or can't be implemented - fine. But just telling me to play regular or, in your case, don't play at all is unacceptable.

+1 to this. -1 to the OP. Just because the OP is tired of seeing a particular response doesn't mean it's an invalid opinion that should be censored.

All I'm saying is it's kinda funny how you keep spending so much money on this game and you say it costs money to play this game when it doesn't

there is regular that are overly complicated and casual which are overly simplistic. there is no inbetween on glb. any attempt to bring either more towards the middle will always result in getting flamed by the majority of posters.

Yep. This. This is pretty much my point here.

This is a forum for suggestions, not just pooh-poohing every suggestion because it's about casual. People should have some respect for others. I'm all for debating an idea on its merits or lack thereof.

Adding options and complexity to casual defeats the entire purpose of casual.

They can't have a hundred different tiers of casual for people who want 90% casual and 10% regular and separate leagues for any and every combination between there.

And before you go into the whole "you don't understand programming, they can do anything if they know how" thing again...of course they can do anything with coding. Just don't.

No, seriously, play regular.

If everyone who wanted to "just make ONE change" to Casual got their way, it wouldn't be Casual anymore.

Of course, making just one or two changes to Casual probably means it would still be Casual. But WHICH one or two changes? Remember, if you only make one or two changes to Casual, that means EVERY SINGLE OTHER SUGGESTION FOR CASUAL has to be rejected. Which means, odds are, YOUR "just one change" suggestion for Casual will have to be rejected.

So... play regular.
