I need some help 2nd round of the playoffs this week in my big money league...I figured some of you pay attention to some NFL football.

So I have 3 separate start/sit questions...This league is not PPR

First is TE
Tony Gonzalez vs Jacksonville
or
Aaron Hernandez vs Denver
-I am leaning toward Gonzo since he has been pretty consistent and the obvious main TE in New England is Gronk. Who should I start?

Next question is flex RB/WR and regular WR slot
-Ok so right now I have LeSean McCoy and Ryan Matthews in the RB slots. Marion Barber in my flex RB/WR slot. Mike Wallace and Victor Cruz in my WR slots. On my bench I have Miles Austin, Laurent Robinson, Kevin Smith, and C.J. Spiller.
I am obviously going to start LeSean but I need help as for who to start elsewhere
Flex RB/WR my choices are...
Marion Barber vs Seahawks
Miles Austin vs Tampa Bay
C.J. Spiller vs Miami
Laurent Robinson vs Tampa Bay
Kevin Smith vs Oakland
RB slot I am wondering who to start as well
Ryan Matthews vs Ravens
Marion Barber vs Seahawks
C.J. Spiller vs Miami
WR slot choose 2 here
Victor Cruz vs Washington (I think I should go with Cruz)
Miles Austin vs Tampa Bay
Laurent Robinson vs Tampa Bay
Mike Wallace vs San Fran

Then the last question is which defense should I start here...
San Fran D vs PIT (I have been rolling with San Fran the whole season and they have done well)
or
Giants D vs Washington

I would normally roll with Ryan Matthews in that RB slot but they play the Ravens this week and I have Barber vs the Seahawks and Spiller vs Miami so it is a tough decision

I thought youd text me with a question like this!

Aaron Hernandez is the more consistent option. If you want a player that could give you big time numbers though go with Tony, although I feel week in and week out Aaron is the more solid option.

Sit Ryan Matthews this week. Go with LeSean, Barber in the RB slots

Miles and Victor are the way to go with the WRs.

Wait till later in the week to see if Kevin Smith will be available or not...get Felix Jones if he is available in your league.

The D is a toss-up could go either way, go with what got you there is my belief.

Always use this as a reference when making tough decisions...

I feel like Gonzo at least gets enough touches each week to be a fantasy producer and Hernandez has Gronk stealing everything.

Yea, this is probably the best way to go

Miles and Victor are the way to go with the WRs.

I still have the flex spot open too....Between Mike Wallace, C.J. Spiller, and Kevin Smith

Wait till later in the week to see if Kevin Smith will be available or not...get Felix Jones if he is available in your league.

The guy who drafted Felix has stuck with him the whole season I guess in hopes that he would return so that one isn't and opition

I love the 49ers D with Patrick Willis and some other very good players, but if Big Ben is playing he knows how to shred a defense and the 49ers are not very good vs the pass. Washington had a little bit of trouble scoring on the Pats 32nd pass defense (One of their TD passes was a HB pass)...and the Giants play them this week with a much better defense than the Patriots. I think I will roll with the Giants here and sit my long time starter the 49ers.

If Big Ben is playing then I have to roll with Mike Wallace at that flex spot just because of his potential to go off any week. Spiller might also be a candidate to go off this week vs a weak miami team. Kevin Smith is a very good back from what I saw of the game before he got injured and the game he got injured in.

If Big Ben is starting I will go with Wallace

Is it a PPR league?

I'd play Matthews over Barber... he might only get 40-50 rushing yards, but if that's the case he'll have 5 receptions for another 40-60 yards.

It's not PPR...Matthews has been solid the past 3 weeks but they have to go against Ray Lewis and Co. which is never a good matchup. Barber looked pretty good last week minus the fumble that lost the game.

Miami fired Spirano Monday and vowed the roster is next so I believe you'll see the defense play inspired which has been tough vs the run all season. Their problems is the same as previous seasons, they can't cover. If Spiller has any value in this game it will be as a receiver and in goal line situations.

What about Kevin Smith? If he plays they are going up against a terrible run defense in Oakland and he looked pretty good before he got hurt. Should I consider starting him over Mike Wallace if he is for sure playing?

Kevin Smith is a catch 22 IMO. High ankle sprains are tough to over come BUT he did practice with the 1st team today. The Raiders have given up over 1800 yards for over 5 yards a carry. Tough call here with the injury. Mike Wallace is Pittsburghs number one so you know he's going to get his touches. Ben has a high ankle sprain too but it's not his plant foot so I don't think it'll affect his throwing. Normally a RB would get more touches than a WR in a game but I would go with Wallace since Smith needs to plant and cut to be effective

I have Kevin Smith on my team with a bunch of other stud HB's, I'm waiting to see about his availability right now but he is clearly injury prone and you may not want to take a chance this week when it counts most if you have someone you know will most likely play the entire game

Good call on Gonzo so far...Looks like Hernandez will end up being the better choice

i have a few questions myself.

14 team league non-ppr

1 pt per 10 yds rush, rec 6 pt tds

2 RB to start

A. Peterson vs NO
w. McGahee vs NE
L. Blount vs Dallas
R. Bush vs Buffalo

2 WR to Start

P. Harvin vs NO
H. Nicks vs Wash
J. Nelson vs KC
D. Thomas vs NE
San Moss vs NYG

1 Flex RB/WR from the two groups

Then the last question is which defense should I start here...
San Fran D vs PIT (I have been rolling with San Fran the whole season and they have done well)
or
PIT vs San Fran

i have both..... any feedback would be good.
