I figure if we can get a 3rd place trophy for things like pancakes, a bigger category such as MVP should be done as well.

There was discussion about this a long time ago. Ended in can't have a second and third place most valuable player. (hint: the word most).

On second thought, why not. The other stat trophies have already set a precedent. Wouldn't hurt anything. Might eliminate a small amount of the bitching of why one player got a MVP trophy when another player had better stats, etc... Then again people will bitch about something else.
