It was kind of a waste to go catching in this sim, but too late now. He's sitting on 139 BTs with an SDC piece in the same slot as the INT% piece and a +5% MT piece in the store in that same slot. I'm considering dropping the INT% piece for one of those two. It would be 50 BTs for the SDC piece or 69 for the MT piece.

Thoughts?

22 INT's in S24 seems to be a bit overblown. You sure catching didn't help that? That might be the most I have ever seen, even against scrubs. Next season looks to be his big INT season again.

Looking at his game log from season 24

Only 2 INTs came from games where they didn't put up 100 on the opposing team.

This is always the response, but then no one can ever show me a CB that has done as well since season 18 or so when the INT nerf took place.

So supplying relevant data to his question is not the thing to do?

If catching played a major role in your INTs that season, it didn't have much of a role in meaningful games.

I imagine it helped vs. crappy opponents.

Decent seasons, 3 - 10 + INT seasons here. Catch Ball % and 66 Catching here.

You were attempting to downplay his output by pointing out that many of his INTs were in blowouts. Yet you can't find another CB who put up numbers even close to what he had even when they were playing against scrubs.

I just really don't care that much...I will leave my opinion up there though.

He had 90 plays per game in a season of blowouts. Lets not act like 22 INTs that season is impressive.

Other than that I think it's tough to make a decent CB with catching. And the addition doesn't seem to have hurt his performance. But with the changes coming I think a slower CB with low tackling, like this one, is going to struggle next season.

I'd keep the INT %

Longhorn's CB builds always look terrible but they always work, so who knows.

So link a CB that did similarly if it's not impressive.

I'm just hoping that with the new changes they don't end up playing terrible. I've always thought that you over-value speed and under value SAs on your builds, but with the nerfs to CM, CBK, and BH, higher speed, lower PD-score CBs will likely perform better next season.

Depending on how the nerf to DvG works out, I'm currently leaning on dropping the INT% piece for a +3 speed/+5% MT piece.

Link another CB that did what? Sat in a league with a bunch of CPUs on aggressive with a 90 play average. I don't think many people whore away like that on CBs. Usually its done on QBs or RBs.

Your CBs always perform but there is a moron factor when you try to act like your an INT machine when all you did was whore out a few CPU teams.

lol hell you had 7 in one game and that wasn't even the most interesting stat. SS on that team had 42 FF. Seriously lawl.
