bugs mods have said its "working as intended" when a kickoff sails over the head of the return man and the coverage team just stops in their tracks and waits for them...the team receiving the kick, however, keeps moving and sets up their blocks nicely.

something needs to be done about this
1) very annoying when the return is 10 yards more than it should be because the coverage guys stop but the blockers don't
2) artificially gives kicker padded average kick distance stats
3) could lead to exploits where people build super fast, ultra low vision kick returners to intentionally take advantage of this

at the very least both teams should have to freeze

a kickoff is a live ball in most football rules, ideally the kicking team should be able to recover (but not advance) the ball.

other threads were in bugs where mod's have said they can't do anything--its working as intended

this is something that has just bothered me................and, like you said, the only response available is 'working as intended'..

when the kicker kicks away from the returner, and the kicking team is punished??

+1 This is indeed very frustrating!

More like screwed up as intended. This has been a problem for a long time & really needs to be addressed on some level besides just stating "working as intended" because that is just plain ignorant at this point.

This is annoying, In real football, as long as the ball doesn't go out of bounds, rushing the football is legal when it hits the ground. The fact that this simulator doesn't do that, the KT freezes like a bunch of deers on a road. Mod's FIX IT!!!!!
