Heres a thread for everybody to show their build and talk about builds.

Here is mine

lvl 23

Strength: 19.15 Blocking: 10
Speed: 62.98 Tackling: 25.3
Agility: 45.18 Throwing: 7
Jumping: 22.94 Catching: 23.63
Stamina: 47 Carrying: 15.38
Vision: 39.87 Kicking: 10

It's a shame your stamina is so high because if you got that down to 35 and placed the 12 SP more strategically that would be one of the better builds I've seen. Still solid though.

What do you think of mine?

lvl 24 Marcus Reed

Edit: Thanks for answering.

Where should I put the next 5 SP? Any comments? Thanks.

By the way nford505, if you would have put those points in agility/vision, you would have a really decent build I think. It is still solid, don't worry!

you guys are all high levels, so i'm coming in here with my low level CB and seeing what I need to do to make a good coverage CB

Stats:
Strength: 10.5 Blocking: 8
Speed: 17.93 Tackling: 10.5
Agility: 20.08 Throwing: 10
Jumping: 12.66 Catching: 13.66
Stamina: 21.66 Carrying: 10.5
Vision: 21.66 Kicking: 8
Confidence: 10.5 Punting: 8

Do the SA trees make a big difference? How should I divide my SP and training? Right now, I'm getting a lot of PDs, (a lot to me), and figure that catching will translate into INTs, but don't want to actually put SP in catching. Halp!

By the by, I'm level 3 and will be leveling up after training tonight. I'm in D league, should I save my SP for later?

um, which one of us are you talking to? And I'm bad at detecting sarcasm on the internet, so if that is sarcasm, tell me. If not, and that's directed towards me, all I do are PDs, halp me out. If none of this is directed towards me, my bad; have a good day!

Very nice build at such a low level.. you're off to a great start. Daily training works best on low stats, so most people try and raise their highest stats (mainly Speed, Vision, Agility, and a little Stamina) with the points from levelling and spread the training around other useful stats as they see fit (mainly Cathcing, Jumping, Strength and Tackling). SAs will make a big difference, but they require your base attributes to be pretty high to be effective... I'd stay away from them entirely until around level 10, and not invest heavily in them until around level 15. As far as getting ints, catching and jumping will both help (as well as some SAs).. but as you can see you don't need very much, with level 20-somethings only having about 20 in those stats. GL & keep swatting those passes!

As far as build posting goes, I'd just get flamed for not having enough agility right now.. so maybe later in the season

I realize my stamina is to high. I wont put anymore points into it. Most of my points are going into vision/agility now. i figure 7 in each after this offseason and the equipment boost to speed

You should work on Strength... then you will not have MsTk. I think a lot of CB's over look this. Don't dump Sp into it just train in it.

Thanks for the comments. I don't know yet if I'll work on the strength, since I may continue to train tackling along with catching and jumping. With a higher tackling I'll miss less tackle but just won't do a lot of fumble, wich is not the primary job of a cornerback. I'll see if the higher tackling is enough and then I'll know if I train strenght or not.

I can say I have some good results. Not a lot of TD allowed (One lately on a really strange play) and not a lot of passes thrown my way. The first game that I boosted my guy this season (So that I got that high agility), I recorded 5 tackles, 1 Int and 1 PD. So yes, I can say that build is effective. I'll be able to tell you more after the next few games.

LvL 11 CB

Player Attributes
Physical Attributes Football Skills
Strength: 13.32 Blocking: 8
Speed: 52.3 Tackling: 17.48
Agility: 32.3 Throwing: 9
Jumping: 17.43 Catching: 18.24
Stamina: 25.15 Carrying: 12.5
Vision: 30.3 Kicking: 9
Confidence: 14.6 Punting: 7

I pretty much shut down the opposing team lead WR. Over 70% of tackles from the run. I've been thrown at once in last three games and it was a PD.

I think I am off to a good start.
