I was thinking, Vision is following more towards a dots knowledge of the game and awareness instead of the ability to open their eyes. I just think that vision would make more sense if it were called awareness. especially to the newer agents.

its not really that big of a deal, just kinda wanted to see everybody's thoughts

Vision is really a combination of vision and awareness. So, +.5?

what about combining the attributes "kicking" and "punting" into one? oh and making confidence and stamina into "tebowing" as a stat.

Let's call stamina "constitution" and agility "dexterity" too...what's the difference?

my point is that Vision is not completely the same as Awareness. it could be changed because the attribute doesn't focus on the dots eyesight. instead it focuses on how the dot recognizes everything.

But if you call it awareness doesn't it just misconstrue the opposite? Seems silly and unneeded.

some people/players need glasses and dont have good vision but are very aware! lol hehe

I actually support this. Vision is a lot more than just seeing holes, seeing open guy, etc. +1

* Did you see that hole open to the left? Can you see the goalposts? Vision helps ALL players know what is going on around them. It is very important for QBs "threading the needle" with passes. It's also sort of the "6th sense" of predicting what your opponent is going to do when blocking or trying to break blocks. It also plays a role in avoiding penalties like false start and offsides.


Vision is not the same thing as Awareness, but Vision is a part of Awareness. Vision/eyesight will only let you see, as awareness will let you think and act from what you can see or sense

punting should be renamed booting

throwing should be renamed pitching

as in "the QB is pitching and the receiver is catching"
