WEEK 9 RANKINGS (R = USPL rookies this season, WL = i'm sure you can figure it out)
WESTERN
1 South Georgia Growl - Owned the Knights in the 2nd half putting up 30 points to Covingtons 3.
2 5th Masterminds - Dominated the Spoilers in just about every way.
3 Vancouver Lions - Defensively shut down the Gryphons run and pass attack. Great win that keeps them on track for an almost guaranteed top 4 seed.
4 Chicago Hedgehogs (WL) - Scored 55 points before finally giving up a TD late in the 4th Q against a team that made the playoffs last season.
5 Monmouth Evil Monkeys - Have a legitimate shot at sweeping their final 8 games.
6 Stormwind City Gryphons - Slowly losing grip on a top 4 seed and with 5th, MEM, Chicago and SGG still on the schedule they could find themselves falling into a bad playoff spot if they don't pick up a win or two out of those.
7 Tulsa Storm - Losing some close ones to top teams was one thing but where was Tulsa today as Chicago did whatever they wanted for 55 minutes.
8 Arkham Asylum Jokers - Hell of a win over Canton puts them on a 3 game win streak but can they ground the Gryphons next week.
9 Canton Bulldogs - Gave up 2 kickoff return TDs in the 4th Q that cost them the game.
10 Covington Black Knights - Went into the half tied up at 10 against SGG. Fitting seeing as how SGG scored 10 times as many points in the second half. Need to find a way to turn things round the next 5 weeks before the final 3 weeks of the season (a tough stretch I see the Knights going 0-3 through).
11 Sin City Spoilers - Rough loss to 5th and the pattern will continue for 2 more weeks.
12 Michigan Mutants (R) - Tough, expected loss to MEM but I've had a change of heart and think they have a shot to beat the struggling Knights.

EASTERN
1 South Otto Fragile Porcelain Mice - Second half of the season features games against 6 playoff hopefuls including ATKM, Oakland and the Aggies.
2 All The King's Men - Overcame 3 turnovers with a big 21 point win over Oakland.
3 Oakland Suppressors - Run game was almost nonexistent and couldn't get in the endzone enough to keep up with ATKM even with a +3 turnover differential.
4 College Station Aggies - Bounce back easily after last weeks loss to Oakland but can they make it 2 in a row with ATKM up next.
5 Las Vegas Gold Diggers - Made it look too easy against Denver. 8 TDs with under 400 yards of offense.
6 Denver Giant 9'ers - Buried by Las Vegas but have 4 soft games next before wrapping up the season with a rough 4 game stretch that will determine their seeding.
7 Atlantic City Affliction - With games against my current top 3 teams still to come ACA will have to play their best ball in the other 5 games to stay in contention.
8 Nashville Hounds - A TD, safety and FG in the 1st Q alone was a sign of how this game would go as they dominated OTG. Now they have to run a 4 week gauntlet made up of my top 4 ranked teams.
9 Punxsutawney Groundhogs - A much needed win over Wala and now the Groundhogs just need to keep it up with a decent schedule the next few weeks.
10 Gulf Coast Crocs - Easy win for the Crocs and they get another good match-up next week but this team won't be sniffing the playoffs without pulling some upsets.
11 "The Combine's" Tennessee Fury (R) - Only seeing about 3-4 wins left for this squad at best which puts them out of the race.
12 Wala Wala Drunken Shriners - Don't see any shot at a turnaround with 4 definite losses remaining on schedule.
