1 United Empire 7-1-0
► The Empire has done very well at beating the teams they're supposed to, but they haven't really faced off with anyone yet. Their sister team the Lone Stars gave them a game and they got surprised by the Assault, but so far they have yet to play a real team. They have three more easy wins left, but from there they could end up losing the rest of the games and finish at 10 - 6.
2 Texas Lone Stars 7-1-0
► The Lone Stars have been cruising along with only the Empire giving them a loss, but their win over the Tigers was a huge game. Similar to the Empire they have a rough road ahead to close out the season, but they are also leveling up along the way. This could be a very scary team come playoff time!
3 LUX Borg 7-1-0
► The Borg were shocked by the amazing Ocing ability of the Stoners in Week 1, but have been unstoppable since then. They still have a couple of big games left on their schedule, but after their win over the Rage; they should be able to cruise into the playoffs with a home playoff game or two in their future.
4 Tigana Tigers 6-2-0
► The Tigers have done very well so far this season, dropped two games against the upper teir teams, but they've pretty much finished off their schedule. Their matchup with UE could be interesting, but that's about all that's left on their schedule. I can see them with a home playoff game for sure; maybe two.
5 Portland Rage 6-2-0
► The Rage just like always looks solid; two losses against top teams that could go either way in the playoffs. Two real games left on their schedule with a lot of sub playoff teams along the way. The only real key for the Rage is don't sleep on some of those teams and you'll be looking at a home playoff game.
6 Golden Cow Misfits 5-3-0
► Let's see I put the Misfits at 3 - 5 at this point in their season on their way to 7 - 9; well they're doing the opposite of my guess so far so with some easy games left on their schedule they should be able to push their record closer to 10 wins, but I'm not sure they can do better than that. Then again I didn't expect them to do this well so far so who knows!
7 Windsor Nobles 5-3-0
► The Nobles started off rough, but have been getting the wins; downside is they're not putting away teams with their wins. Now with some tough games coming up in the future this could be trouble for the Nobles. They have to focus on taking down some of those top teams to secure a playoff spot.
8 Mentone Beach Assault 4-4-0
► The Assault lives and dies by its defense and special teams; the offense is non-exsistent. Their Kicker is their top offensive threat and if they can't get things turned around soon; they'll miss out on the playoffs and a huge advantage of boosting three times in the second round.
9 Valhalla Fighting Danes 4-4-0
► I really thought the Fighting Danes were going to be off to a better season, but they've only been able to take down the teams they're supposed to beat. They were brutilized by the Borg and it's going to be a long close to the season with at least 3 more losses ahead of them. They have to win those other games or it's going to be no playoffs for the Danes.
10 Mekong Delta Force 3-5-0
► The Delta Force still have a lot of tough games ahead and they haven't exactly struck fear and any top team. So let's review my early season guess… 4 - 4, but their loss to the Nobles put them a bit lower than my guess. I had the Delta Force finish off at 6 -10 however, I'm only seeing 2 more wins left on their schedule.
11 Fareham Demons 3-5-0
► A top ranked team to start off the season and a team that's always been a contender, but really struggling with some close losses. Win any of those close games and the Demons could be sitting at 6 - 2 right now. Hard to say if they have a shot at the playoffs anymore.
12 Quahog Royally Drunken Clams 2-6-0
► The Drunken Clams need to sober up soon as they're looking at 3 more wins left on the season and probably nothing more than that. Time to put down the shot glasses and start recruiting; unless you're recruiting in a bar in which case it's okay to do some more shots!
13 Dirty South Brew Crew 2-6-0
► Still have some of the elite teams left and they're having a tough season. Should return once again to WEPL, but the Brew Crew took a big step backwards this season.
14 HM Funny Lions 1-7-0
► Got a lucky Week 1 matchup and still have the bottom two teams to face off with so the Funny Lions should be back next season, but if they lost both games to the bottom two; the Funny Lions might find themselves backin Regional Pro.
15 Notorious D.O.T. 1-7-0
► Their only win is over the other team getting demoted; not looking so hat this season guys, better luck next time.
16 French Lick Stallions 0-8-0
