1. 6-12 in Alpha all are 3-3
Crazy crazy standings, not sure I have ever seen anything like that.

It will be interesting to watch as those 7 3-3 teams are essentially fight for the 6th, 7th and 8th spot.

2. Zeta seems a little more confusing.
Sure, they only have 4 teams at 3-3, but there are some big time names sitting at 2-4

Lincoln and C-town still have a shot, as they are really only one game back of 6th place, but neither have shown the ability to take over and get back into the race.

3. Lets take a look at the schedule difference between each league

I was throwing this around last night in the RToF forum, so lets just look a the 9th place team's schedules over a full season. Instead of team names, lets just look at the GLB rankings and where teams are. Seems as if the rankings are far enough a long that they have some sort of value.

Alpha: Cobra Kai vs. Queen City Black Cats
Pretty huge game, you could probably say any 3-3 team that is playing has a huge game, but this one pits two big time teams against each other. I personally like QCBC, just cause they destroyed RToF. But, keep in mind who ever I pick usually loses

Zeta: Cincinnati Sin vs. Buda Pests
Really good game here. Thought about C-Town vs Guyana or even Black Ops vs SSM, because both those games are must wins for each time. But, Buda and Sin are just too good of a match up to pass up. Buda has impressed my all season, including some of the scrims that they have played, so I am going with them.

This week, I took the time to ask ITS a few questions. Thanks to ITS for taking the time to answer them.

1) What is the biggest reason for Kai's success on defense? (With out giving anything away of course)

The scheme fits the players. We have had this group together from the start (for the most part) so the scheme has developed over their entire career.

2) Do you think dropping down and moving up the age group ladder helped you and Kai as gameplanners?

Yes, because the game is different at each level. You are also able to experiment A LOT more in lower level leagues. I have seen a lot more plays on both offense and defense, plays which are not typically used.

3) After playing 6 games, what team do you think Kai will or did have the most trouble with?

Korb. We lost to them, but primarily because I underestimated them. I didn't put the time in that I should have figuring we would beat them easily. I didn't think they would be 6-0 and in first at this point.

4) Talk about the WL. How do you feel about it? Do you think the current system is working?

I like the WL, but get a lot more enjoyment out of the player build process. The chase of getting to the WL is more exciting than the WL its self for me. For the system to work better they need to merge the Pro leagues into 4 leagues.

5) If you could be Bort for a day, what kind of changes would we see in GLB land?

I would add some more VA's and actually make all SA's work.

6) What teams has surprised you most this season in the WL? Disappointed you the most?

Korb, I just didn't think they were that good. They don't impress when you scout them. They do everything well but nothing great. Most LOL is Hali. Watching them fail is funny especially because they are really trying and gameplanning. They have talent on their team, they just are not great gameplanners. That is coming back to bite them in the ass.

7) Aside from Kai, who are your top 5 WL teams?

Korb allowed 100 less yards than QCBC and has given up 2 more points. How their Defense is ranked #2 and ours #6?

It is not possible as QCBC is ranked #7th poins allowed and Korb #8. Korb has given up 3 KR touchdowns this season, so we would be way ahead of QCBC if you only count points given up by the Defense.
