Oceania Pro League Week 2
Underdog Game of the Week
OffTopica Miracle @ Marblehead Longhorns
Taking nothing away from Offtopica, as they did great in their first week holding the opposistion to just 3 points, I am punching their underdog ticket this week. I think offensively there is a slight difference in the ability to execute on the field, I think Marblehead holds the key to dominating OTM's Defense. But if OTM can get their Running Attack moving this week, they could come up with a big win. Marblehead, needs to just keep playing sound dotball and not give anything away. If they start throwing the ball around carelessly this could get ulgy quick.
Powerhouse Game of the Week
Grocery Baggers @ Banzai Pipeline 'Nites
Both of these teams looked great in week 1. One team has a better Passing Offense, one a better Rushing Offense. That is what I think the key to the game will be. Banzai's defense, on paper, appears to be better than that of GB. GB's Passing Attack looks better than BPN's, BPN's Rushing Attack and Offensive Line, could be a notch better than GB's...if it comes down to the kicking game, I think BPN has this. IDK man...too many damn questions, not enough answers. Definitely potentially two of the better teams in Alpha this season..or maybe their first opponents just sucked that hard.
Balanced Game of the Week
The GlobeDotters: Eastern Anubis Gurupies @ Cheers is filmed in front of a live studio audience
Cheers & EAG both got it done in style in week 1. Although Cheers did find it a bit more difficult fending off the Globedotters of Zeta in week 1. Will the Globedotters of Alpha triumph over Cheers? Or will Cheers have their drunken reunion in the endzone yet again this week?
Oceania Pro League Alpha Conference Tostito-Goal Game of the Week
Carthage Mad Clash @ SWAT City Vigilantes
Carthage may have had a week 1 loss but even in a loss they looked fairly impressive. SCV has been impressive for the last two seasons. This one, I expect to be an extremely tough contest between two teams that could do some serious damage in the playoffs.
Oceania Pro League Zeta Conference PowerZone Game of the Week
Solomon Islands Alchemy @ Carribean Voodoo
Both of these teams had a week 1 loss, one worse than the other, but I do think that they may be better than they've played, just not better than Alpha. This week, expect them to play each other close.
