Tell us what team you think will win the championship this season. You can give a reason why as well. (just something to talk about,)

In the West you have the CrackerTown Juniors & the Boendby Pee Wee Bengals as the clear powerhouse teams with the Fighting Gamecocks nipping at their heels. I just don't see any other team from the West contending this season.

In the East you have don't have any clear power house teams. There are several teams that could win the East if they get hot in the playoffs. Those teams include...

Short Bus Window Lickers - LE is always dangerous, especially with new plays to work with, but can Z proved a good enough defense?
Cleveland Scalpers - the DuPrae brothers are always dangerous and have multiple PWG titles already, but can they win without mccollums?
DIRTY INC. - when Mike actually tries, his teams are top notch, but he has a history of giving up quickly. Which Mike will we face come playoff time?
Chicago 85' Bears - got to put my team in the mix here...
Maine Grenadiers - basically the same coaching staff that won 3 PWG titles, so the question is are they hungry for more or will they continue to fade?
Baytown Bulldogs - with legster letting his Ogo team go CPU, will he bring his successful system to Baytown or just be a figurehead HC?

My pick would be for CTJ to repeat as I don't see any team in the East being able to hang with them if they put as much effort into the game as they did in S24. Remember that all these projections presume full boost/ceq with a coaching staff that is trying to win.

Nice job getting some chatter going. Pretty tough draw, lot's of good teams. Teams that play the best defense will win the championship as defense takes the lead around level 13. Right now the best defensive teams in the league are always ran by McCollums and RK. Baytown was an offensive machine and Legster will only help that team as he is very good on the defensive front. Same thing for Boedenby. ZM has another season under his belt and with the addition of him working on Springfield he may have his best season yet. Which team figures out stops and can slow the offense down enough will get a leg up on everyone else.

RK quit coordinating season 21. Maine will kind of be there, but I don't think it matters who wins east. Cracker will repeat if they try.

One thing that I think helped gold this season and might make it more interesting is the movement of FG to the west. I agree with what Gerr said about the west except I would add Crib, STD, and PNM as contenders, especially if Crackertown doesn't match last season's output perfectly. I think the conferences are actually pretty even right now, but if Crackertown gets hot, I think they will roll to a title easily unless a team like SBWL, Chicago, Boendby, or my team has an exceptional season because of all the new changes.

Funny you guys all seem to mention the usual suspects for whos going to win the title which is fine,, and accurate and.. boring.. maybe you should be talking about some of the newer blood in gold that may actually make some noise.. I think that PWU is going to suprise alot of people this year in the west with Moentrol at the helm for his second full season in gold.

I think defensively Moentrol has to prove he can stop high octane offenses which I haven't seen and I saw first hand of his defenses. He allows the inside slants while stopping the screens. Also average on the offensive front running lots of screens and flat routes. Will be interesting to see him in full control if that improves this season

FGC wuz scared and went to the West. Too many big names in the East

Dude, I really didn't want to go to the west. They just moved me. You know how GLB is with that kind of stuff. They said I can move back at the end of the season.

Season hasn't started, yet. Everyone is a contender and everyone has a shot.

Good luck to all.

i am hoping to be a competitor this season. i have created an entirely new defensive set about 6 times this off season and hope the final product is good enough to slow people down out there. as for offense, well i guess you'll just have to wait and see what i have planned. My goal for the season is the conference championship game.i do believe my weakest link will be my player builds.

I think that the peewee chiefs could catch on fire this season as well if they boost.

I agree about crackertown running the show again this season.

FGC is looking good this season with the new teams they are going to face.

The east is too tough to call. So many good teams there.

Fero and his team Hardly athletic should have a better showing than they did last season.

tbh they should juggle the conferences each season like they do in WL. I am sure some teams get tired of playing the same teams each season.

This, I actually am not too upset about being moved. I get to play rivals like Crackertown and Crib that I usually don't get to play much and still get to play rivals in Shy Town and STD that were also moved.

Just getting ready for season now.. didn't even know that we had an official tourney game.. haven't even looked at the new plays yet....lol

I know I won't spend as much as last season.. I had to get used to the sim and alot had changed since S19. I think this will be a much tougher season to predict.. with everyone having a season to see the new player development.
