Why bother putting the 3 equip pts in CTCH? should just keep those in SPD imo

It was a +3 catching base piece. I didn't add it on.

Are you really seeing anything out of Head Fake?

He only has two in it currently. That's actually where I'm looking to get the most feedback. I'm hoping using Head Fake + QF will be enough to help get some separation in his route running.

I can't imagine it'd fire much with 62 carrying vs 80 vision CBs, or that it'd accomplish much even if it did. I'd go with Catch Fake if you're trying that.

That's the funny thing. According to Bort, carrying does not affect a WR's route running, but head fake can fire during a route. That seems to imply that carrying does not affect head fake's ability to fire successfully while the WR is running a route. Carrying only matters when the ball is in his hands.

I'm not totally sure about that. I'd have to see exactly how Bort worded it. I'd think the requirements for the roll would be the same whether running a route or ball in hand....maybe bort just mean that high carry won't help you make better cuts or something.

I don't see it as worthwhile though.....high vision/high SV CBs aren't going to get faked often, and when they do, most are agile enough that they'd be up in 1 tick....throw in ball hawk to make up lost ground and even when it does fire, I just don't see it as worthwhile.

If you want to pump SAs, with all that jumping, why not go jumping catch/1 hand catch + primetime player VA

Id have to see the new pbps with juke text added but I've thought I've seen significant jukes that got my wrs open tons last season.

The idea isn't to get huge separation like a speedster WR needs, but just enough that his higher catching score will win out.

Do you have fake % on those WRs or just QF?

B+,. dont care for clock manager on a WR. Could always use some blocking to help your teams run game, higher vision as well. I would have put a few more in agility rather than Speed for a POSS WR>

I'd rather see strength and jumping about even instead of jumping so much higher. I'm starting to think that strength plays a much larger role in the catch rolls than people realize.
