With GCV's only loss being to the Mules, possibly the best team in Zeta NOT in the League Championship, this looks to be a fantastic game. Indy walked through the Alpha conference Championship while GCV had to fight til the very end. The question is this, did Indy get here the way they did because Alpha is really that weak or because they are really that good? I called this at the beginning of the season when I did my Preseason Analysis, I'm not shocked this is the game we're about to see.

This game is going to be a grind, the best defense is going to win.

Bold Prediction?

GCV 14-10

I will be pulling for GCV but I have a feeling this might get ugly. I hope I am wrong.

With no Alpha teams demoting here from WL (my team is going Reg Pro I think, and will suck even if we are just dropped to OPL), and two very good Zeta teams demoting, I think the era of lolzeta has passed, and OPL will return to lolalpha.

It's p much lolOPL, period. We gave up 51 of Indy's players to our two WL teams. We had min chem and all season only planned for the CCG game against Stuttgart. We had to use a few guys that probably shouldn't have been on the team but it didn't cost us. Our 5th team was way underleveled and near min chem and still held their own in the opposite conference.

I remember when OPL used to be competitive and the forums were lively and fun. Now it's the timeout league for the WL demotees and a handful with potential.

Yeah. If Bort does demote Dev to OPL, I feel pretty confident I could avoid demotion with a CPU roster and the same D and O AIs we used this past season.
