So what are the thoughts on this season? Which conference is more dangerous?

Last season the West out performed the East in head to head match-ups if I recall correctly so take that how you will. However the presence of two farm teams in the West does hurt their over all competitiveness somewhat. I think the West has more very good teams and more very bad teams while the East is more evenly balanced with lots of mid-level teams and fewer teams at the extremes now that the Bootleggers have declined to the middle of the pack. Only 6 teams in the West have a losing record vs 8 in the East and the only 0-7 team in the East has actually kept all but 2 of their games relatively close. I think if the top half of the West and East all got an extra 8 game half season to play each team from the top half of the other conference the West would win more games. I believe the opposite would hold true if the bottom half teams matched up and the East would win more. Of course we're just hitting the midway point of the season so who knows what teams will look like after 9 more games have passed.

I think the West top 5 is better than the East top 5, not by alot though, but Our bottom halfis alot weaker then the East's.

West, they have more Complete teams, and other than Kansas City, Windy City and Minnesota all are improving. Phoenix, George West and Quack Attack while not the strongest teams yet, are moving up in talent, next year we will be a 13 team deep conference.

Plus if we predicted the Final Standings, Right Now, for each confernece, it would be IMO about 5x easier to get the Final East Standings right than the Final West Standings.

I think our #9 and #10 teams if they played in the East would make the playoffs.

Right now IMO, 10 Teams in the West have a Legit Shot at the #1 or #2 seed, (Tampa, Omaha, Baton Rouge, Naturals, Knights, Trolls, Heat, Lightning, Persecution, Looters)

In the East, IMO only 5 teams have a legit shot at the #1 or #2 seed (Pitt, Maryland, Toronto, Bayou, and the Hustlers)

IMO the West is Much Deeper than the East and the East doesnt have Dominant teams to overcome the Depth of the West. Though Toronto could be the best team. Cant wait for that Maryland Toronto game, but the Preds gotta get past Bayou first.
