Argh stupid link to the first play thing again. What an idiotic system....

Will try to fix later. Suffice it to say it was nifty. Same thing again a few plays later for shy of ten yards.

That is the opening kickoff. Pretty sure a forward pass there is not allowed. :-)

I'm pretty sure hurries are just to give the d-line some stats, has no effect on how well the pass is thrown.

You think? Usually seems to have some effect to me. But who knows. Maybe its an increased chance at a bad pass, and if it aint it aint.

But either way, would have looked good in a highlight reel.

In the Sumatra/GCV game there were 10 hurries, 5 completed.

50% is pretty good, especially since the completion rate for the non-hurried passes was only 52%,

Any other examples from two evenly matched teams? I'm too lazy to poke around.
