Oceania Pro League Week 11 Write-Up
David vs. Goliath Game of the Week
Buda Pest @ Gold Coast Michelin Men
Because we all know how it turned out, I'm slating Buda as David in this one. But really they are the Goliath. GCMM has underachieved this season and I don't expect this to be a close game but GCMM is a good team and will be very good next season. Buda is definitely the favorite, along side Indy, to win the conference and possibly the league.
Blowout Game of the week
Prague Panthers @ South Bend Rhinocopters
I'm gonna keep this one short and sweet. Prague hasn't done anything write-up worthy all season. This game won't be close. SBR is going to win and win by about 4 touchdowns if not more.
Dark Horse Game of the Week
San Diego Supa Chargers @ Amsterdam Bulls
SD is another middle of the road team that should be good next season as long as they have success in recruiting. Amsterdam is a dark horse in the playoffs I think. They really have a shot at pulling off some upsets if they can pick it up a little. I don't know if this game will be close.. I don't think it will be but it's possible. But the team to really watch here is Amsterdam.
Oceania Pro Alpha Conference Tostito-Goal Game of the Week
SWAT City Vigilantes @ Axis: Pinoy Allstars 2
I'm not sure if this will live up to a GOTW either. Axis is a very solid team and SWAT definitely qualfies as just being middle of the road, but it should be fun to watch never the less. SCV is a team that should be great next season and Axis really has a shot at winning the league. If SCV's defense can play stout then they may have a shot at walking away victorious.
Oceania Pro Zeta Conference PowerZone Game of the Week
Razorback Nation @ Komodo Dragon
RBN is definitely the favorite in this game and honestly I don't even think this game is going to be all that close. There is NOTHING about Komodo that has impressed me for a team that on paper should be crushing teams. Inactives are really killing Komodo, I guess when half the roster is away, it is kinda hard to gameplan. This may not even live up to being a GOTW, because unless Komodo gameplans for the first time this season, RBN should walk away with this one. (If you are gameplanning, it's probably not a good idea to admit it)
