Why is The Cave still in Pro ?

My team has been in Pro for 3 seasons now and each time we have played them, they have had half a roster, at best.

I have no problem with there being stronger/weaker teams in every league. That is the way of things (AFC West has Denver, for example).

But allowing a team to remain in Pro every season when they make no attempt to field a competitive roster just makes a mockery of the whole game imo.

And I have nothing against this particular team .. I dont know anyone on it. There are probably other examples, but this is just one that I know.

Why have they not been forcibly demoted at the start of a season ?

Yes, I agree that a team who averages 6 wins/season in WL is complete garbage that throws off the competitive balance. As such, it is clear that Hedgehogs in WL is similar to a gutted team in USAPro. You sir are a gentleman and a scholar and my hat is off to you for your fantastic comparison and deduction skills.

The vast majority of teams don't have a chance of getting to WL. To have done it multiple times, even for a one-and-done, is worth props.

I agree with OP. Also wonder about how they sort between conferences. That is and has been an on-going problem. If you have one conference (East this year) with 12 good teams and another (West) with only 6, that really upsets the competitive balance. They should be able to use a script that looks at a team's previous history and their current EFL and sorts teams into conferences that way.
