Back when I was writing fiction for profit I had a ten page single spaced section all freshly typed up on my word processor (this being back in the ancient day when such oddities roamed the lands). Ten pages of really good flowed out in a torrent creative and fun interesting stuff.

Locks up, won't let me do anything to save or cutnpaste into smaller sections. Lost all ten pages.

Suffice it to say that the replacement work wasnt as good, wasnt as long and didnt get written that night.

I just have to figure out where I can find it when I need it

someone needs to come up with a little device that fits in your pocket that can store notes like this. or even phone numbers. i always forget numbers. wouldn't just have to be for notes - it could do other things in time. like a calculator program?
