Plan to take jumping up to the point where it hits the 77 range. But where to go from there? I am not sure what is truly worth it.

My main options are

Stamina ldo
Carrying
Strength
Confidence

in that order of importance imo. Thoughts from the GLB masses?

Doesn't strength play a major role in fighting for contested passes?

That seems to be what a lot of people tell me...tho I find it hard to believe its a very big role when watching my WL WR catch passes that are contested with his lulzy 32 strength and then also watching break tackle WR's try and catch balls when contested. I will likely be training it up a bit...but im hesitant to waste SP's in such an attribute on a build like this if not needed.

stam and carry to 60 and light train strength to 30 ish. I know for a fact there are wl wr's with 8 strength that don't have too much trouble catching balls.

And if it's the dot I think it is, why don't you take vision to 61?

its this dot. And I might think of taking vision higher. Tho its a very small part of the receiving bar and jumping has immediate attention right now. I am not sure I would have the time to take vision to 61 while still getting stamina/carrying/confidence to the levels id like and plus hit the small bit into SA's I want. The big thing here is really how important taking carrying beyond the first cap level and taking strength to a first cap level is. I am also not sure if I want to take Stamina to 56 or to 68. I have 2 other WR's much like this guy where I have definitive plans for...but this guy a little behind them so I figured I would get some input and see what people think I should do differently after taking jumping up. See if it makes any difference.

Tho maybe carrying and strength are just completely a waste of time and vision would make more sense. I just dont know.

I'm looking at a 990+ sp dot right now with 148 speed 86 agility 73 catching 68 vision 60 jumping 60 stamina 38 carrying and 8 strength with 2 pieces of catch ball and 10/10 in fs/qc who has 5 drops since season 18.

As soon as my 8 str 80 carrying wr gets up there, I'll tell you how important strength is.

Well drops arent really anything. Its more about what % of targets they are catching.

What about run blocking or going up against CB's / Safety with 50 strength / 70 tackling ? Knocked loose going to become a problem?

If I'm calculating correctly, then he will end up with 140 speed.

I'm thinking that means he needs between 55-60 stamina end build to support that amount of speed.

He's not going to be running away from anyone, so you are taking care of the catching roll, but you need to make sure that you don't have too many knocked loose. I'm thinking you are going to want at least 60 carrying, but probably don't need more than 65, although it is hard to say how high future CBs are going to have their tackling/knock loose score.

Confidence should probably end up in the 45-50 range somewhere, with closer to 50 being ideal but not a necessity in the current SIM unless things change. Personally I like about 55 confidence on most of my players but a lot of them never make it there.

After that then see how much strength you can add. I think you want at least 40-45 but if you can get it closer to 60 that is a big +.

Ya. 140 speed was pretty much what I was shooting for on these builds.

That is the main thing too. Basing it off current WR builds is hard just because there is no telling what kind of maniacs these new arch secondaries are gonna be like.

My WL WR which is kind of a lesser version of this guy has 4 dropped passes in the last 3 seasons.

Strength - 32
Carrying - 48
Confidence - 40
Stamina - 66

He also has a 68% completion rate in that time. Now taking into account my catching, jumping, vision, and agility would all already be higher than my WL WR....is taking Carrying to that second cap really worth the SP?

KL's count as drops on wr stats - doesn't happen too much now tbh.
