Game of the Week

Royal Blue Drunken Smurfs of Funkalicious Labatt (1-0) vs. Golden Hill Bones (0-1)
In this game we have two teams who made huge steps last season and will be a factor in the home game seedings for Naga. GHB lost to an improved Cobras team in Garuda, while the Smurfs were making love to some MHM faces. The Smurfs will not roll that easily this week because GHB is no Darko Milicic http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1frPfrnA7DQ&feature=fvst. This will be a statement game for both teams as the Smurfs look to show that it is their time, and Bones want to be taken seriously. Smurfs 34, Bones 21

Woody Island Wolverines (1-0) vs. Pasadena Patriots (0-1)
WIW has been a solid SEA team for a while, whilst never taking that next step. Pasadena is just now entering SEA and this could be a dark season for them. This game will be kind of a mandatory "take your lickings" game. Hopefully they take it better than Ryan Leaf http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HmeA_vHjzY&feature=fvst. WIW 58, Pasadena 6

Tibetan Drunk Monks (0-1) vs. Destin Leviathans (0-1)
Destin is nonexistent, but they stopped Wu 1 TD shy of putting up the dreaded 255 mark. I dont think the [other] Drunk Monks will be able to put 255 on them, but people also said that Tim Couch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmdWN8FfFbs would bring the Brownies back to prominence. Sainte Foy Cyclones (1-0) vs. Watha Dotball Warriors (1-0)
This is a game of 2, young and undefeated teams. WDW though might be a little young, and they might get more than they bargain for with the Cyclones. This should be a competitive game that is decided in the 2nd half. Hopefully neither of these young guns take the same route as Freddy Adu http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGFO-qiuC38. SFC 33, WDW 27

Barcelona Crusaders (0-1) vs. The LEGION's Keeling Island Fighting Irish (1-0)
It is a bad draw for the Crusaders. First they get Garuda favorite NYE and now a hungry KIFI team that can talk like and elite team, and look like they will be in the Naga talks. The season is still early but I think KIFI will control the action in this one before they go on to meet two tough games in their next 2. In this situation the Crusaders will be playing Sam Bowie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nERNj0afyY. But hopefully they will do better. KIFI 45, Barcelona 17

Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates (0-1) vs. Wichita Black Magic (0-1)
I actually watched the entire SDSU and BLPP game spoiler free today and thought they would pull the upset, but it was a close loss against one of the (perceived) top teams in SEA. Black Magic are only half of a team and BLPP will be in beast mode for this game. Don't expect to see as much hype like there was for Kwmae Brown http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5-A8Ao47nU. Kamehameha Kings (0-1) vs. Timpanogos Thunder (1-0)
Yet another game between two young teams here in Naga. Both teams are extremely young and even boasting some LVL 59 dots which would get them slaughtered against any other team, but luckily they are playing each other. Will the Kings' O-Line be too much to handle? Or will the Thunder take them down? Looks can be deceiving, but I don't think either team will be a JaMarcus Russel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iByBO8aZ0g in the future. KK 28, TT 17


Victoria Teabaggers (1-0) vs. Royal Dirty Penguins (1-0)
How fitting is it that we end Naga predictions with these two teams? This is a game of 2 SEA veterans and should probably be GoTW. The Penguins and Teabaggers have been playoff teams forever around here but with the Penguins' sister team the Monks in the WL, it seems like it is "go time" for the Teabaggers crew. This will be a great game as both teams will be looking to see what they can do against other proven SEA vets. Game of the Week.
Atlantic Great Whites (0-1) vs. Buffalo Rampage (1-0)
This week's GoTW in Garuda is between they veteran Rampage and Great Whites from the Atlantic. AGW has been here for a few seasons, but this season they look like they can play a part in the playoff race in Garuda.They played KIFI very tough and although Rampage might be better, you can never get anything out of a Week 1 game. It goes without saying that Beffalo will be looking to preform better than Brady Quinn in the NFL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wj5ub_KGbb4 and not slip up as they are favored in this one. Washington D.C. Donkey Punch (0-1) vs. Rio de Janeiro Speedwagons (0-1)
Donkey Punch is a mediocre team by Pro standards, but they will be just fine this season as far as staying up here goes. A team that wont though is Rio de Janeiro, and they will be sent packing pretty easily and quietly. NBA Jam Extreme (1-0) vs. Shanghai Tigers (1-0)
This could be a competitive game if the Tigers had a few more dots. I think that would be the difference in this game, but their thin roster still makes me doubt them despite the fact that they dominated in their week 1 matchup. Jam still has their WL roster that had a top 10 finish in GLB last season (I think) and they aren't that far into decline. Look for this to be good for about 6 minutes before Jam calls a timeout, and commences to dunking, and the Tigers might end up like the Kandi man http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mbLdZlQC1U&feature=fvst. Halifax Harpoons (0-1) vs. Paris Smexies (0-1)
Smexies are a young team that will be fighting to stay in SEAPL, while teams like Halifax make it easier for them to stay. Expect Paris to get out to a fast start like Ted Ginn Jr. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyPtJF-IgPc before going back into obscurity. Paris 126, Halifax 3

Boston Bears (1-0) vs. SDSU Aztecs (1-0)
This could be the GoTW but the jury is still out on Boston. They always seem to be on of those type of teams that are a critical hit or miss. They had 10 wins 2 seasons ago but missed the playoffs last season. Meanwhile SDSU has just hit their peak are they are just ripping opponents left and right so far in their scrims. They are turning heads for sure, but this is not a sure win. A few fatal mistakes could seal either team's fate in this game and they could be left wondering what to do, like the Packers after they drafted Tony Mandarich http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSCR6t_2QrA over Barry Sanders, Derek Thomas, Deion Sanders, and Steve Atwater. Wu Dang Kung Fu Academy (1-0) vs. Mount Holly Militia (0-1)
This is a tale of two stories. For Wu it is their 2nd consecutive blowout game they will be in while the pain and misery continues for the Militia. Tanzania Lumberjacks (0-1) vs.The New York Empire (1-0)
This game could very well be competitive and I think Tanzania has the potential to give Empire all that they can handle, but sadly they haven't shown us anything yet and give us no reason to stand on our heads waiting for it. Meanwhile Empire is back to their old ways and will be looking to dominate this season and get back into the WL. Mandalay King Cobras (1-0) vs. 51st State Pirates (0-1)
MKC is looking like a real contender this season and picked up a nice win over GHB in week 1. Couple that with a few wins over WL teams and we know we have something here with MKC. 51st State is still young but they will be competing seriously soon enough. I think that MKC gets it done easily, but just as Jay Cutler http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FP_7DUYAv3I shows flashes of greatness at times, I think the Pirates will put up a respectable fight.
