I did a couple of seasons ago, and while there is a correlation between EL and record, there were also several teams that completely blew it up (either very high EL and underperformed, or very low EL and overperformed).

I think I looked at EL last offseason for OPL and Kingston had the best.

Miracles had highest EL one or two seasons. Made playoffs even won a couple of playoff games but that was it.

Started at 12th last season I think, ended in 10th place in Alpha.

Season 19, when we won alpha, we were about middle of the pack for EL.

I wish it was more important, but it doesn't use all the dots, and certain types of dots can really push a team EL up without having a major impact on the dot field.

8 is a bit high for So Cal.

The lower we are the better we finish. So I might have to cut some fools.

If you take the top 20 teams, remove the ones with fewer than 40 players, and 90% of those teams will be in the top of the standings. Thus, it is not completely worthless. However, it can't capture gameplanning, roster cohesiveness, build quality, and other factors like Chemistry and luck of the scheduling draw.
