The UAA, United Agents Alliance Opens their Draft
We have a nice Alliance that is taking on several more Agents Players.
If we get overwhelmed by Agents wanting to join a draft, we will be entering teams that is interested and in the Alliance Forum.
If you wish to join the Alliance, and or have players here, you will have a choice of signing to a team as a Free Agent, and or sign up for the draft. we want you to post what your player will do In the Alliance Forum.
So you want a draft! Lets do it..
We have a format where only Alliance Teams, will be eligible to draft. This is the UAA, If you want to unite and have some fun lets do this thing!
If we are overwhelmed by Players, we will need teams of all League base. teams inside the Alliance will have 1st shot if we need to bring up a team. If no team is available, We will be looking to bring in another team into the alliance.

Once inside the Forum, please post your players in the Correct Format and proper Season 22 league.

Who can draft.
1. Post ..These are the eligible teams in a different Thread for each League in our forum. If we need more Teams, who wishes to bring their team into the alliance. We will let you know if your team is in the alliance forum This will let us know if we need your team, You'll have to be in the forum. teams with Member of the UAA --> United Agents Alliance, will have a better shot at being chosen for the draft.
2. How many Players can sign up for the draft. This will answer by how many team we will need.
3. #1 Teams get the draft, if more teams are needed, We PM them and tell the teams that are interested, They are a recognized team. The will have the # ?? Draft slot. If more teams are needed. Bring in another team.
Who is eligible?
We are for all Dot's in UAA that was built After Day 40 of season 20. we are asking agents to build rookie teams This is why we are united.
Any DOT that is over the age of Day 40 at the end of season 21 will be eligible for the draft.
All of the Dots that are under the age of 40 at the end of this season may not have been created yet and or was created during the season.
The only ones that are, are most likely new members of GLB. that just this season joined GLB and created a Dot of a few Dots. As well as, Those that built dots late. we want the Dots that will be eligible for the Sophomore League
Ages 40 to 80 all the way up to players that are eligible for the world league.
Note:
At some point you might want to consider that a player might be to old. however, There are a few of these out there. This will be the call of the team drafting, as well as the team signing Free Agents.
What is the Order of the draft?
This is an alliance. The Top team in their respective League will get key Draft picks. This is a competitive Alliance. Not just one team gets all the glory. Any Agent can Take over the top team in any Age Bracket. So next season, another team might have a better chance on top picks.
Since some are Elite and some are bottom teams... The Lower Age based team might have a better record.. Just because he is in a lower class of teams.
Best team gets 1st 2 picks of draft.
Then we go worst team to best team.
So if they finished like this:
A, B, C, D
Then the draft would go.
A, A, D, C, B, A, D, C, B, A, etc.
Regional Minor Elite #1 --------------------------> + 3 Wins
Ages 172d-231d
Lv33-57 Sugg.
Regional Minor Competitive #2 ---------------> +2 Wins
Ages 172d-231d
Lv30-52 Sugg.
Regional Minor Competitive #3 ---------------> +1 Win
Ages 172d-231d
Lv29-51 Sugg.
Regional Minor League #4 ---------------------> +0 Wins
Ages 172d-231d
Lv23-39 Sugg.
What if a player doesn't get drafted
This happens in real life. Sorry. if there are more Teams available, Bring one up. If not. Don't give up.
This same thing happened in the regular GLB draft. i had one that wasn't drafted one season. life goes on.
Possibly, the agent will need to rebuild his dot, or look elsewhere for a team. I'm sure, We might have several QB's looking to get drafted. i can bet, not all will. we might even end up drafting a top QB, and releasing one of our present QB's on a said team.
What if a player doesn't sign with the team that drafted them?
This will and has always happened in GLB. one of the biggest problems of the draft. I believe that one season, Somewhere in the pros, NFL, MLB, NBA, this has happened in real life. A player held out hoping to get a better team a few years back.
This is where we put in that if a player sign up for the draft, he has the responsibility of joining the team that drafted him.
it is very unfortunate, that this will happen as it has in the past on the old GLB. Something we have a small solution to.
Since the draft will most likely bring in agents all off season long. if a player does not sign, That team will have to request permission to re-draft. If the Player in question Joins the team after the request has been made. The owner, will be responsible of Cutting that player. That player now becomes eligible to rejoin the draft. If he does not Cut that player. he will NOT be able to draft the next season. We will refuse the any Agent manipulating the system.
The draft will start next weekend 4-22-2011. This will be done through the League structure inside the Alliance Forum.
This will be done From Friday night until sometime during the Off season.
