This early in the season a blowout of that magnitude can. That said, you will have to keep winning at that level to retain your spot at #1, as the rankings are based on per game stats (points per game, yards per game, etc.). So basically, if you perform below the level you did in that blowout, your ranking score will go down. Can you win 136-0 every week?

I know...and 12-3 wins don't do a lot for stats. But still...we held a pretty high-scoring offense to a single FG. Is there no love for a good defensive effort?
