Top 10

1a - Asau Pirates (11-0) - Asua wins again. Last writeup I said they have one more tough game against the Vipers... scratch that. Team is on autopilot and I just dont see them losing a game until the championship game... sorry OPL Zeta.
Next Opponent: Guam Chamoros Rising Sun Devils (prediction: Asau by a lot)

1b - Indianapolis Gurupies (11-0) - Seems like the Gurupies were not satisfied with 1b and are making a case for 1a after destroying another top OPL Alpha team. As the weeks go on there seems to be less and less doubt that it will be an Asau/Indy championship game.
Next Opponent: Banzai Pipeline 'Nites (prediction: Indy by 28)

2 - Gold Coast Michelin Men (10-1) - Florida was just what the Michelin Men need after getting crushed by Indy. Not much to really see here until they play Stockholm in week 15.
Next Opponent: Bora Bora Bangaroos (prediction: GCMM by a lot)

3 - Banzai Pipeline 'Nites (10-1) - Coming off a bye Banzai gets one more shot to try and move up. Unfortunately, they are taking on Indy so its more of a shot to try and stay where they are as the Gurupies just seem to be unbeatable.
Next Opponent: Indianapolis Gurupies (prediction: Indy by 28)

4 - Stockholm Black Death (8-3) - Stockholm wins as expected. Should have three more easy wins before closing out the season against GCMM and Kingston. I feel comfortable keeping them at #4 for now.
Next Opponent: All Good Things (prediction: Stockholm by a lot)

5 - Syracuse Synergy (8-2) - Nice win for Syracuse over up and comers, Budapest Devils. Up next is another solid young team. I expect Syracuse to roll through the remainder of their schedule.
Next Opponent: Amsterdam Bulls (prediction: Syracuse by 24)

6 - Sumatra Seahawks - (8-3) - Sumtra continues their move upwards as a team above them takes a big fall. That loss to Kona looks less and less disappointing as Kona continues to show they are not waiting for next season to compete. One more cupcake before their week 13 matchup in Oregon.
Next Opponent: Lynchburg Party Crashers (prediction: Sumatra by a lot)

7 - Hong Kong Voodoo (8-3) - Not much to see here until they play the Gurupies in week 13. They benefit from a Kingston and GCV loss this week.
Next Opponent: Black Sea Storage (prediction: Hong Kong by a lot)

8 - Oregon Ducks (8-3) - Not much to see here either until they play Sumatra in week 13. They also benefit from a Kingston and GCV loss this week.
Next Opponent: Gaul Cernunos Army (prediction: Oregon by a lot)

9 - Kingston Uprising (7-4) - I have to say I expected more from Kingston and their 1185 average player value this season. All of those STOPs and not one player in the top 10 race for ST MVP. Not one quality win on the season, I am starting to question why I have them in the top 10.
Next Opponent: Florida BeachDogZ (prediction: Kingston by a lot)

10a - Kona Gold (9-2) - I cant hold this team out of the top 10 anymore having beaten both Sumatra and GCV. This team is going to be a regular in the top 10 next season, no doubt. I cant wait to see how they fair against Syracuse and Asua. I dont expect them to have a chance in those games but am interested to see how well they hang in there. Should finish with a VERY respectable 10-4 first OPL season record.
Next Opponent: Gaul Cernunos Army (prediction: Kona by a lot)

10b - Gold Coast Vipers (9-2) - Wow, there was a reason I left the Vipers out of the initial top 10 and I have been reminded why. They are now destined for a 10-4 regular season record and are almost guaranteed a 5th straight first round exit in the playoffs.
Next Opponent: Oberon Bulls (prediction: Vipers by a lot)
