Well my Lawrence Stop Signs are in their 3rd season in WEPL. First season we went 8-8, second season 9-7 and missed the playoffs both times. This is the first season it looks like we have a solid chance for a playoff berth. So, I'm excited about that! It looks like things are going to get interesting for the lower seeds in the upcoming games.
#1 Paris Musketeers - they look like the best team in WEPL if you ask me. One loss to the red hot Black Hand won't hurt them in the long run. 1 really tough game left vs the Grizzlies and 2 challenging games I would expect them to win vs Porto and Amsterdam. They finish the season 14-2 at worst IMO but probably go 15-1 and go all of the way to the final game and head to WL next season.
#2 Graz Grizzlies - they still have Paris on their schedule, I think that game could go either way. They should win the remaining games, although the Chiefs and Porto won't be easy for them. They finish 14-2.
#3 Black Hand - they certainly have it this season, they look like a top team worthy of a 3 seed. Their only loss so far is to the Grizzlies. They finish the season with a tough schedule, they have to play the London's, Stop Signs and Black Army. I would expect them to finish strong and win close games. I think both London's have a good chance at beating them and maybe a big upset by the Stop Signs or Black Army...maybe. They finish 13-3.
#4 London Hitmen - this is a damn good team, if they can put together a good gameplan vs Black Hand, they will win out. Black Hand is their only tough game left and they will either finish 13-3 or 12-4, so either 3 or 4 seed for them.
#5 London Underground - this is a very good team. They only have Black Hand to worry about to finish their schedule off. they finish 11-5
#6 Lawrence Stop Signs - after 2 upsets in a row, we look to be in good position for our first playoff berth in WEPL. 2 more tough games remaining vs Black Army and Black Hand. We lose to Black Hand and win the rest, hopefully and finish 11-5.
#7 Porto People Eaters - they need to beat the Chiefs, who look like they are kind of rebuilding but still a good team. If they lose to the Chiefs, expect a 3 game losing streak because Graz and Paris will most likely beat them and they finish 10-6.
#8 Amsterdam Chiefs - they must be rebuilding this season because the last few seasons they were unstoppable during the regular season. They have a very tough schedule remaining. If they beat Porto and the Black Army, they will most likely lose 2 more games vs Paris and Graz. They finish 10-6.
On the Bubble:
LEGION'S VOLGORAD BLACK ARMY
this is a tough 6-5 team, but their remaining schedule isn't going to help them. They still have Lawrence, Amsterdam and Black Hand Remaining. They must find a way to win 2 of those or they will be sitting out of the playoffs at 8-8 and I imagine the Chiefs and Stop Signs would have to be those 2 wins.
