Anyone else have any experience there? Contemplating a move from OPL to one of them as we just haven't been able to put it all together enough to compete with the teams here in OPL over the last few seasons. Having to "reload" every offseason, we will never be able to have a "plan" as far as builds as it's hard enough to recruit a full roster as it is of human players.

Would hate to leave Oceania, but only winning 3-6 games a season isn't fun for anyone.

From what you see with our team, would we be competitive in the Regional Pro arena or would it be a similar outcome to what we are experiencing here?

I don't know, was hoping to learn about the situation a little in here as OPL seems to have many "in the know" regarding these types of issues.

You can request a demote to regional pro, irrc, however you might have your cash reset and lose part of your stadium... not sure.

That said, I think Oberon would be competitive in regional pro... a playoff team for sure (even in regional pro elite)

If you can demote to Reg. Pro, the issue I would see for you is that this is potentially a one season solution for you. If you took your current roster into Regional Pro, you would likely be placed in Reg Pro Elite. I think they sort teams by EL somewhat, and 1060 is a very good EL for Regional Pro. If you did end up in Elite, you would probably be promoted back to Pro the next season. Devonport has a farm team that went 11-5 in Regional Pro Elite and lost in the first round of the playoffs in Season 20. We were promoted to WEPL for this season.

If you want to get control of your builds and get a solid core of agents that stick with you, I think a better solution is to demote to Rookie and start fresh. Using a solid multi-training build strategy, you can create players that should be competitive once you get back into the Pros. The obvious issue with that is the wait time for builds to develop. However, it is the only way that I can think to ensure that you have the right builds and avoid the every offseason recruiting grind.

have u ever considered an all CPU team
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=4211

why pay for dots when u can just use CPU's??

No kidding. How sick is that?

Maybe the answer if we stay is just to recruit the guys who have a build we like and if not, sign CPUs. That sucks when a CPU team is doing better than a human team where guys are investing money and actually trying.

I'm glad we don't play yall! lol

if they made it like old AAA leagues where the top 4 (CC game participants) move up it would be bettter because in 95% of elite leagues there are not 5 teams who can compete at pro but 16 get promoted.

Another problem is that if you are lucky and end up in a stacked league and miss playoffs yyou get demoted to competitive while level 55 dots go to elite from semi pro

I'm getting the feeling we are doomed to a cycle of suck for the time being if we remain in OPL...

Ruger7mmmag,

Thanks for contacting us. As I understand it, teams in the Pro level aren't able to request demotion to a different uncapped league - the only options for formal demotion requests (using the form available on the team page from Day 33 - Day 41) are for age groups with minimum and maximum ages (National Semi Pro or lower). As far as the different between Regional Pro and National Pro... Regional Pro is the first uncapped league, National Pro is next the uncapped league, between Regional Pro and World League. At the beginning of the season, the minimum age for Regional Pro is 261 days, for National Pro it's 301 days. If you have other questions, or if there's anything else I can help you with, please let me know!

That's what I thought. Otherwise, a team that is a playoff pro team could ask to demote to Reg Pro and dominate (if they wanted to be cheesey). I know that is not your intention, but I figured that was the answer you would get.

I got a team on Regional Pro and trust me its incredibly boring!!!
The only competitive games that my team have played are the scrimmages that I've schedule against the higher level teams.

Yeah but check out my team's scrimmages and who we have beaten on some of them and some of the close ones as well.
Take note, almost 85% of the roster are just level 60.

Apparently that's the level we'd need to play against the way we're getting friggin creamed this season. we just got blown out by another 3-7 team and still have no answers as to why we suck as bad as we do. We've got great strength along the OL and two good backs yet we can't run worth a damn and passing? Geez, we can't complete a darn thing. It's got me so fed up I'm about to throw it in and my coordinators which have guided us to some pretty good records over the many seasons are about fed up as well. I almost feel bad asking our owner to keep footing the bill for this sort of performance.
