Portland Dirty Penguins (9-0) v Woody Island Wolverines (6-3)
This is a big game for WIW’s playoff hopes. Ya, they’ll make the playoffs either way, but if they manage to win this one they have a shot at climbing the seeding ladder a bit and giving themselves an easier first game. Palembang Drunken Monks (9-0) v Sainte Foy Cyclones (5-4)
This could be a first round playoff preview, but only if SFC starts putting together some wins from here on out. They have a great tradition of making the playoffs and looking good along the way, but they have struggled a bit this season. Victoria Teabaggers (8-1) v Tibetan Drunk Monks (5-4)
TDM is having their best season in SEA to date but if they want to make the playoffs they are going to have to beat a playoff quality team somewhere along the way. I don’t know if this is that game though since VT is a top tier Naga team. This could look more like the Rocky Horror Picture Show http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smRsvudqLPE than anything, but I think TDM keeps it closer than expected. VT 38, TDM 20
Royal Blue Drunken Smurfs of Funkalicious Labatt (7-2) v Golden Hill Bones (6-3)
This should be one of the better games of the week. Between the two teams there’s more firepower than Dirty Harry http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6Ro0Wiq6v0 but even so the Smurfs were really expected to be a home playoff team until next season since they’re young. The Cult of Personalities (6-3) v Wichita Black Magic (2-7)
CoP came close against both the Monks and VT and has shown they could still be a dark horse in Naga if they get some breaks along the way. WBM still has quite a ways to go to be competitive and going to play at CoP, it may feel more like they’re in Deliverance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9R4t_Nwy5E than a football game. Bentor Harbor Havoc (5-4) v Las Vegas Dirty Hookers (1-8)
BHH started off slow under the weight of a tough schedule but they have since picked up steam. LVDH is probably happy to just not be relegated this season, courtesy of two CPU teams. Here we have the matchup of two teams expected to have much better records than they currently have at this point in the season, although both are almost sure to make the big dance. Buffalo Rampage (7-2) v Bourbontown BlueCats (0-9)
It’s a good thing that BBC is from Bourbontown because they’ve needed to drink a lot of it this season. That won’t change here either. SDSU Aztecs (7-2) v Shanghai Tigers (2-7)
Both teams got big wins last week. SDSU broke their modest losing streak to keep in the top 4 and the Tigers beat IMT to ensure their spot in SEA next season. Both teams have had their shining moments this season, but SDSU has been gobbling up most of the competition like Jaws http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3nooXplS50 thus far. Not bad for new guys. Phu Khao Bow Chicka Brown Cows (6-3) v Boston Bears (4-5)
These two teams seemed to have corned the market on heart breaking losses this season, but fortunately for both the season is not over, so all things are possible. The Cows are in fact still on pace to be a home playoff team, which is the main regular season goal. NBA Jam Extreme (6-3) v Tanzania Lumberjacks (3-6)
NBA has quietly (iknowrite) worked their way back into the Power Poll and is rolling. TL is not so much rolling as hobbling, but could still be dangerous.
