Alpha Conference Standings
1 .. E-City Mercenaries …. 8-0-0
- Undefeated at the half and not too many close games at all; looks like things are going good for the Mercenaries. You can pretty much lock them in for the playoffs and with maybe…maybe four possible losses on the schedule; you can pretty much lock them in for a home playoff game. Their next matchup is against the Borg which will be their only true test; a win there and they probably run the table.
2 .. Diamond Valley Mastadons …. 7-1-0
- Who the hell are these guys? I swear their name was Death Valley, but they've taken down the Chiefs, Borg, and the Demons this season! Very impressive run so far a few big games left on the schedule before the close out with the Mercenaries, but they're in the playoffs and a home game unless something goes very wrong.
3 .. Fareham Demons …. 6-2-0
- The Demons started off looking like the normal season they always have, but have really come up big against some tougher teams. They still have to face off with the Borg and the Mercenaries, but they've got the playoff locked up. A bad game or two and they may not be in the running for a home playoff game, but they've looked good this season.
4 .. LUX Borg …. 6-2-0
- The Borg were too busy looking at the Mercenaries to notice the Empire coming at full force. That loss could be costly later, but hopefully they've got a solid game plan for the Mercenaries to make up for it. After that it's pretty much easy wins until they play the Demons to see who gets that last home playoff game.
5 .. Portland Rage …. 6-2-0
- The Rage were destoryed by the Borg and then lost a heart breaker to the Demons; bad part is they still have a handfull of tough games ahead. I'd put the Rage in the playoffs, but their game against the Assault and Empire are going to be must wins to secure post season play. I don't see them fighting for a home game, but it is still possible; however, so is sitting on the sidelines for the playoffs.
6 .. Black Sea Serpents …. 6-2-0
- The Serpents beat the Mastadons, but then lost to the Brew Crew; a very rocky season so far for this Black Sea squad. They still have the Borg and Demons on their schedule so I'd put another two losses on their record, but they should still be in the playoff hunt. Their matchup with the Rage to close out the season will be huge!
7 .. Mentone Beach Assault …. 5-3-0
- The Assault are too young to have this record and still have chemistry issues. They started off strong and last a battle against the Misfits and Demons, but showed they can hang tough. However, they've had a pretty easy schedule so far and they will have to win out to make the playoffs. This once World League team is not as powerful as it once was, but no one can sleep on them, but I don't see them making the playoff this season.
8 .. United Empire …. 5-3-0
- The Empire are at a quiet 5-3, but only due to having to open the season against the Musketeers; their other loss was to the Mercenaries. The Serpents did rip their hearts out with that win and force them down to the 8th seed in the rankings, but don't count this giant out as they only have a couple of real games left and could even run the table if teams aren't paying attention. I've got the Empire as a lock for the playoffs and a first round game winner.
9 .. Mexican Misfits …. 4-4-0
- The Misfits are all over the place with their schedule, they win, they lose, who knows which team you're going to face each week. I guess that's why they're Misfits! They still have some brutal games left on the schedule and it's going to take a big win here or there to secure a playoff spot, but I see them closing out at 8-8 and missing the playoffs.
10 . Dirty South Brew Crew …. 4-4-0
- The Brew Crew always seem to be on the cusp of winning big games, but seem to find a way to come up just short. They've lost some close close games and find themselves at 4-4 at the halfway point. I can see another four close losses on their schedule, but more teams could pile on if they're not careful. I'm afraid they'll close out at 7-9 and miss post season play.
11 . Algoma Beach Tokers …. 3-5-0
- The mighty Tokers have fallen and look to have a big hill to climb to get through the rest of the season as they've got at least four games where they're looking at a possible loss. I blame stu for their losses, but he'll have to get his internet hooked up and figure out what's gone wrong as they'll have to win out to make the playoffs. I'm going to have faith in stu and put them at 8-8 and beat out the Misfits to make that 8th seed.
12 . Dot Vaders …. 3-5-0
- The Vaders pissed Bort off or asked him to give them the hardest opening schedule in Alpha, but they've managed to put together three wins so far. Good news is they only have a few more tough teams left on their schedule; bad news is they'll have to win out to make it to post season play. I see a strong three losses in their future, but a possible 8-8; ther game against the Misfits and Tokers will be Huge!
13 . Austin Drunk Punks …. 1-7-0
- The Punks won the lottery with their out of conference matchup and have been riding that one win all season long. If Blazz wants to keep this team in WEPL next season he better bust out the Mini Helmet when they face off with the Farms so they can lock in another season in Pro.
14 . Schrute Farms …. 0-8-0
- The real season for the Farms is about to begin as their first round playoff match kicks off with the Warlords. This is a rough game and I see them coming up just short, but break out the Nachos or Mini Helmet or something man this game is huge for you! From here they face off with the Rebels where they should win and get one step closer to staying in WEPL another season. Of course with the Punks chemistry in the trash, maybe they could pull off an upset there.
15 . Pirgos Warlords …. 0-8-0
- The Warlords have really struggled this season, but played very strong against the Assault. Their chemistry is getting better, but their next game against the Farms is their playoffs. Win and you're probably back for another season in WEPL. Lose and drop down to Regional Pro.
16 . Black Sea Rebels …. 0-8-0
- No hope here, they're dropping down to Regional Pro.

Zeta Conference Standings
1 .. Black Hand …. 8-0-0
- Sitting high on top after a big win over the Musketeers and beating the Chiefs earlier in the season; the Black Hand is looking strong. Next up is the Grizzlies and really the only real game left until they face off with the Londons. Don't really see any of them taking down the Black Hand, but that doesn't mean they can sleep on these teams. The target is on their back and everyone is gunning for you! I'm going to wreck their season and list them at 16-0 for the regular season.
2 .. Paris Musketeers …. 7-1-0
- The Musketeers lose to the Black Hand? April Fools! No really this happened, whether the dog ate their homework or the Black Hand ate their defense, they lost. The good news is you won't have to worry about game planning for a while. Granted you still have the Chiefs and Grizzlies left, just don't fall asleep with all the CPU teams and you'll be fine. Remember you did beat the Wife Carriers; pretty safe to say you get a home game this post season.
3 .. Graz Grizzlies …. 7-1-0
- I thought I said you guys sucked! You have a few CPU teams left to make your record even better; crap I was off on you guys. Good thing for me you guys still have the Black Hand and Musketeers to drop that record down a few notches. Just for the heck of it, Porto is beating you too! We'll see the Grizzlies in the playoffs once again and they can play with anyone so they're not an easy match. A few solid wins and they could find a home game in the post season.
4 .. Amsterdam Chiefs …. 6-2-0
- Now I know I said you guys suck; what the hell is going on in Zeta? Your chemistry still sucks, but you continue to win; nicely done! I've got three more losses coming your way, but you're a lock for the playoffs. Not sure about a home game unless you really pull out a game against Porto, but I was wrong about you guys for sure.
5 .. London Hitmen …. 6-2-0
- I had high hopes for you guys, but you dropped a big game to London. Now you have the Chiefs and your big match up at the end of the season with the Black Hand. I've got the Hitmen making the playoffs, but their game against the Chiefs will really determine if they get a home game or not. I maked the Hitmen as the team to beat in Zeta so I'd like to see them even take down the Black Hand...too bad that won't happen.
6 .. Porto People Eaters …. 5-3-0
- Porto gets to take a little nap for a week while they play the CPU teams, but then face a huge gauntlet with the Chiefs, Musketeers, and then Grizzlies all in a row. That a tough call, but I think they can take two of those games and they remember to log in to GLB. I'll even go as far as saying Porto will have a home game this post season! If they had paid off Bort like the other teams, they wouldn't have had to play the Mercenaries to start off the season.
7 .. Lawrence Stop Signs …. 5-3-0
- Your real season is coming up now against the Londons and Chiefs; I don't think you have enough for the Black Hand, but you've got a solid shot at making the playoffs and maybe making some noise. Just have to come up big in the post season as a lower seed.
8 .. VOLGOGRAD BLACK ARMY …. 5-3-0
- Well you worked your way into the Pros and maybe only have three more losses on your schedule so you're looking at some post season play, but how well will you do when you get there?
9 .. Metz Metal Militia …. 5-3-0
- A handful of losses left so it's not looking good for post season play. The Militia has had some problems with the top notch teams, but they still have a few to go. Not sure the Militia will be in the post season.
10 . London Underground …. 4-4-0
- What the hell happened to this team? Sure sure you had a rough first half of the season, but you're supposed to be a top notch team! You have one more loss to go, but will finish off at 11-5 and ready for post season play, but you better get your act together or you'll be sent up quick!
11 . Minnesota Skulls …. 3-5-0
- You've got three losses still on your schedule, but there's a chance you could finish off at 8-8; just need to get a good SIM in a couple of those games. Might as well start recuiting for next season and come back strong.
12 . Evil Fleet …. 1-7-0
- I'm positive you'll be back next season, but you may want to throw out a promo against the Bats to secure your spot.
13 . London CPU …. 1-7-0
- You beat the Titans, but who didn't; beat the Fleet or Bats and you're coming back. I'd concentrate on beating the Bats!
14 . Valencia Bats …. 1-7-0
- You got one win down, but you only have one game left on your schedule to secure a return to WEPL. Beat London CPU and start recruiting!
15 . Glasgow Tigers …. 0-8-0
- Valencia Bats and London CPU; remember those games. Win one and you can stay here with us. Lose both and you can go play with the Titans next season.

- Good news is the hard part of the Titans schedule is almost over. Should be a lot easier in Regional Pro for you!
