Here's a link to the Day 1 Rankings for comparison: http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=4549732&page=1#41330887

Each team's previous ranking and current record are listed after their team name. That information is followed by their current chemistry, roster size, and effective level.

Playoff Teams w/first-round home games... _______________________________________________

1) Queensland Exiles • #1, 8-0 • (87/100/96 • 55 • 1,099.92) • Their big tests won't come until they face the LAWN!!! and Rulers in Weeks 13 & 14, respectively...but they're still the #1 team until some other team proves otherwise.

2) Montreal Rulers • #3, 8-0 • (87/100/100 • 55 • 1,087.99) • Easily one of the top teams in the West and they get to face the LAWN!!! at home. Going on the road against the Exiles in Week 14 will determine if they deserve to be rated this highly.

3) Get Off Our LAWN!!! • #2, 8-0 • (79/92/90 • 55 • 1,088.34) • I may lose my lolGM spot with the LAWN!!! for moving them down, but I'm weighing the fact that the gains in Chemistry won't necessarily mitigate the losses from decline. We'll know soon enough as the team I've moved ahead of them gets a home game in Week 10. They still have a very real chance of making the World League if the old guys can stay motivated.

4) MIAMI ROADFROGS • #4, 5-3 • (88/100/100 • 55 • 1,132.42) • They won the games they were supposed to win, but couldn't pull off any upsets. They'll be tested by the Muskrats in Week 9, then go on the road against Queensland in Week 10. Could they be 5-5 after 10 games?

Playoff Teams w/first-round away games... _______________________________________________

5) Arnprior Muskrats • #7, 7-1 • (100/100/100 • 55 • 1,055.84) • An easy first-half schedule has helped this team build momentum and establish themselves as a contender. Close wins against St. John's, the Dookies, and Rancho Cucamonga all came at home. A brutal second-half begins on the road against the MIAMI ROADFROGS and ends with the Queensland Exiles. They'll take a few lumps, but are still a lock for the playoffs.

6) Fighting Big Dookies • #5, 4-4 • (100/100/100 • 55 • 1,046.02) • They had a tough first half against the top teams in CPL West and fared well. What this team is capable of in the second half is anybody's guess...but I like their chances.

7) St. John's Salty Dogs • #6, 4-4 • (84/95/100 • 54 • 1,132.15) • I was accused of sandbagging when I had them rated sixth in the initial rankings. As usual, they probably won't kick it into high gear before the playoffs...if they make the playoffs, that is.

8) Saskatchewan Roughriders • #9, 4-4 • (100/100/100 • 55 • 1,006.09) • It was a toss-up for me whether Detroit belonged here or if the Roughriders would usurp the final playoff spot. We should know by Week 10 if I picked correctly.

Non-Playoff Teams, the outside looking in... _______________________________________________

9) Detroit Pyromaniacs • #8, 4-4 • (82/100/100 • 55 • 1,064.84) • They finished last season at 9-7, and could again this season as well...but their second half won't be any easier than their first, so the Week 10 match-up with Saskatchewan looms bigger than any other game.

10) Rancho Cucamonga Quakes • #12, 1-7 • (100/100/100 • 45 • 1,121.25) • If these guys had even 5 more players, they'd probably have 3-4 more wins. They could still take a game or two that they're not expected to win in the second half if they keep up the effort they put forth in the first 8 games.

11) Quebec War Eagles • #13, 4-4 • (86/100/100 • 51 • 1,068.65) • Probably should be ranked higher...and may even contend for the final playoff spot.

12) Jetnation Dream Team • #10, 2-6 • (100/100/100 • 55 • 957.40) • Things will certainly improve for them in a much easier second half, but they're not a threat to make the playoffs.

Non-Playoff Teams, looking to avoid demotion... _______________________________________________

13) Houston Vikings • #11, 0-8 • (74/92/86 • 55 • 1,058.95)
14) Philadelphia Philanthropists • #15, 2-6 • (89/100/100 • 50 • 956.98)
15) Edmonton Apaches • #16, 1-7 • (100/100/100 • 44 • 1,026.42)
16) Beantown Bastards • #14, 0-8 • (42/85/64 • 53 • 1,143.26)

missed these man - awesome to see it back!

Exiles slowly finding their way. Will be interesting how we play Rulers and LAWN with the games so late in the season .... top 3 probably don't belong in CPL (but not necessarily the WL either).
