USA Pro League - Western Conference

Sorry in advance as both my dogs in the fight are in the West (Cincy and TCU) so I'll only be doing a brief write up as I need to get some work done.

Young Fresh Superstars vs. Kickin Djibouti - Layup for the 2-0 start for the Superstars.

Tallahassee Seminoles vs. Doomsday Sin - I like the match up here as they are pretty much even with the Doom slightly favored. I'll hop on this for my upset of the week and take the Noles (not really sure if it would be that big of upset but just roll with it). Should be a hotly contested one throughout.

Monmouth Evil Monkeys vs. Bucking Broncos - Good reason not to thump your chest and proclaim you'll go 20-0. MEM will right their wrong from week one but looking at footage this one will be a hell of a lot closer than I would have guessed originally.

TCU Super Frogs vs. Rhode Island Red Wolves I'd really like to say TCU has a shot but with decling dots that should have been retired we simply don't have a shot...this one will be uglier than Josh's prom date (we'll try though).

LUElinks LUEshis vs. Corpus Christi Illegal Aliens LL surprised me with their opening win but they won't have enough in the tank for the Illegal Aliens (shorter name coming up soon?). CCIA will take over in the 2nd half and win by a few scores.

SOUTH GEORGIA GROWL vs. Covington Black Knights - The Knights got their W over the Minnesota Eagles but not sure that is saying all that much. With SGG they'll have their hands full and likely get beat up pretty bad.

Car Ramrod vs. San Francisco Webzoners - Webzoners showed some life in their week one loss but Ramrod will quickly take it away in week two.

Indiana Inferno vs. Cincinnati Shockers - The Inferno has been struggling and Cincy isn't the team they'll get better against.

BADGER's TOP THREE:
1. Cincy - bring it bitches!
2. Rhode Island Red Wolves - looking real sharp in scrimmages and in week one.
3. Car Ramrod - just so I don't have to listen to how good they are for 10 more post after this goes up...at #3 we still may have to deal with it.

BADER's FOOT IN YOUR MOUTH AWARD:
joemalaka with thread titled "So will anyone even come close to beating MEM this season?" The questions been answered after week one.

Actually, my prom date was really hot. She was the sister of the bassist in my band. But she was also crazy. WAY crazier than I thought she original was. I like a little crazy. I don't like Joker crazy. Dude wasn't a good enough bassist to put up with that.

I wouldn't doubt it. The Dogs are awesome. Wouldn't be surprised to see them in the finals.

It will be a yearly dose of "giving you shit." I'd have you there anyway but needed something clever to get a few posts going in this dead zone...it worked!!!

Bass has always been my favorite instrument (I don't play). I'm particularly happy to see you name Maiden first on that list, as Steve Harris was probably my first favorite bassist. His galloping sound was what made me notice and realize the important of the "rhythm section" in the first place. A great bass player is like a great O-line - usually underrated and over shadowed, but when you look at the greatest teams/bands of all time almost all of them have a badass O-line, or in the case of bands a Chris Squire or Paul McCartney or Geezer Butler or John Paul Jones or John Entwhistle, etc.

most definitely. I'm missing it as I haven't played in quite a while. Listening to Zeppelin and JPJ at the moment actually. A very solid and well schooled bass player.
