I've never been a fan of vision on my return men, as vision would be the "obvious" choice on where to go next. I could use my 15 SPs off boost to cap confidence, but I'd rather train it up to 48.

So, just start loading up on SAs this early?

Suggestions would be great on what to use my boosts on.

What is your goal for this dot? I don't see him being good enough to play on a good Nat'l Pro team ever. That's p much the advice I give - I assume "End-Game" is the goal..

130 speed, 85 agility, 80 carrying are all the absolute minimums for Nat'l Pro IMO.

Either way, he needs a lot more speed. Hate to do it at 239 days old, but no matter where he's going to play the rest of his career, getting more speed will help him more than anything else. A Not Fumble AEQ will also be useful.

Hmmm, I've built many high performance return man dating back to Season 1. I always went with the specs you stated above, but as the game evolved I strayed away from that approach and my results seemed to improve with my build change.

I didn't realize those were still the standards 21 seasons in.

I'll have to roll another return man next season and shoot for it. With this guy, I'll just finish out his career as is and wing it a bit. He's produced pretty well so far so, why not.

The norm is going to be 145 speed/90 agility/80 carrying with 8 or 10 in spin and RS, with the way training & archetypes work now.

Like I said, though, I have no clue what it takes to succeed at levels below Nat'l Pro. (And to be fair, as long as you don't have CPUs, you're probably going to promote every season anyway)

For his level, he probably does very well. If you extrapolate his build, and the builds of his opponents, to level 72, I think you'll find that he'll be ineffective at that level range vs. good builds. I would still get more speed on him no matter what you're doing with the dot, and possibly more vision. Then maybe perma-train those tertiary attributes forever while putting the rest of his SP into SA. May even be worth it to buy Juke as an extra SA, since he isn't going to outrun any gunners.
