I thought I would throw my 2 cents in on Rd. 1 for OPLA. There are a bunch of great games and if the chips fall in just the right way we could have a bunch of lower seeds moving on to the 2nd Rd. I am not quite ready to predict a bunch of upsets but don't be surprised if there are some.

OPL Alpha Conference
Cypriot Freedom vs Death Dealers - Even if the Dealers woke up and started trying it would be some tall order to expect them to win this game. As many have alluded to, Cypriot is a WL team in waiting and really only stand a chance to lose to 2 maybe 3 teams and the Death Dealers aren't one of them in my mind. I hope to see DD back up and running soon. Cypriot 49-6
Gold Coast Michelin Men vs 6th Street Savage Swarm - This is the kind of game you want to see in Rd. 1 of the playoffs. I believe either of these teams can play with anyone in the bracket and for each of us to have the opportunity to go through the other to get to the 2nd Rd. is a real pleasant treat. I know conventional wisdom will say that 6th St. is the favorite here but I have a feeling the world will be shocked. GCMM 35-17
Devonport Devils vs Bora Bora Bangaroos - If Bora Bora was on 0 cares mode for the regular season then this could end up being a great game and huge upset but I think Bora got nervous enough for the last 1/4 of the season to give at least 1 cares for a few games so I don't think they have enough left in reserve to surprise Devonport in Rd. 1. I also am a bit selfish in that I want another shot at Devonport so it just won't do for the Bangaroos to beat them before we can get our retribution. Devils 24-13
Banzai Pipeline 'Nites vs Stockholm Black Death - This is clearly another game where both teams feel like they can win going in. I'm sure the 'Nites are a bit more confident but I truly believe that with the right gameplan Stockholm can beat any team in the league. With that said I don't think they will have an answer for what will likely be a totally different lok from Banzai in the playoffs. 'Nites 28-10
