Semarang Red Bulls (11-1) v Hong Kong Hustlers (8-4)
Welcome to the no-love-loss GoTW. The history between these two franchises is as sordid as it is long. Palembang Drunken Monks (12-0) v Orlando Praying Mantis (4-8)
OPM would have to run the table to have a shot at making the playoffs at this point. That is unlikely, especially since they are playing the top seed this week. It would be a wilder ride than the Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gNJ1z-ulB4 imo Monks 56, OPM 13
Victoria Teabaggers (10-2) v The Outlaw Hustlers (5-7)
VT is rolling this season and almost sure to get a home playoff game. TOH can really only afford one more loss to still be able to make the playoffs. This is probably that loss. Krungthep Garudas (10-2) v Sainte Foy Cyclones (7-5)
SFC is not in danger of not making the playoffs but they’d love to improve their seeding and start building a plan to possibly win a game or two when the big dance starts. Woody Island Wolverines (9-3) v Royal Blue Drunken Smurfs of Funkalicious Labatt (4-8)
WW looked extremely nasty against SFC and they’d love to propel that momentum into the playoffs. WW is planning to go Red Sonja http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUHsZEo4I24 on the Blue, so we’ll see which color comes out on top. WW 52, Smurfs 13
Benton Harbor Havoc (6-6) v Golden Hill Bones (5-7)
BHH and GHB clash in what could ultimately amount to a playoff elimination game. Whoever ends up as the Prince of Space http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuvVjHbubOI in this one could be playing that elusive 17th game while the other watches from the ‘ol couch. BHH 27, GHB 24
Portland Dirty Penguins (5-7) v Tibet Drunk Monks (1-11)
PDP is coming on really strong late in the season and hoping to sneak into the playoffs at the end. Tibet needs to pick up another win to stick around SEA but this could be more like a Nail Gun Massacre http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdFHRYmjJh8 PDP 62, TDM 10
Dayton Blackhawks (0-12) v Dayton Raiders (0-12)
The battle of Dayton has finally arrived. The winner has a shot to stay in SEA while the loser is almost certain toast. The Blachawks have been playing fairly decent despite their record so the Raiders better play more like the Raiders of Wu Tang http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQp6SP3WjF8 to win here. New York Empire (11-1) v Buffalo Rampage (10-2)
The battle for first place is on. Will NYE hold on to that top spot all alone or will Buffalo create a giant mess requiring bort to clean it up? Wu Dang Kung Fu Academy (10-2) v Boston Bears (9-3)
Boston picked up a big time win against KK. I didn’t really see that margin of victory coming at all. Wu has this one last big challenge between them and a great 14 win season. Phu Khao Bow Chicka Brown Cows (10-2) v Praha Velvet Revolution (1-11)
PVR just got their first win of the season and hopefully not their last, but the Cows have looked like a juggernaut all along. Will the goes remain in Maximum Overdive http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqz2rejJS6M this time? Cows 75, PVR 3
Mandalay King Cobras (8-4) v Island of Misfit Toys (2-10)
IMT just picked up another win and probably secured their place in SEA for next season. MKC looked fantastic against Halifax and looks to garner more momentum into the playoffs where they hope to be a Megaforce http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KpfKp-gv6s MKC 56, IMT 17
Krakow Kryptonite (8-4) v Chaotic Crew (4-8)
KK got KO’d last week and they’re probably pissed about it and plan to take it out on CC here. I wouldn’t want to be around for KK’s unleashing of the Night of the Demon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vaGp9ylSDs in this one. KK 45, CC 17
Halifax Harpoons (6-6) v CPU
Halifax is looking to solidify their playoff standing and run away from the Nights. Halifax should have no problems going Flash Gordon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uh8KVG8j68I here. Halifax 220, CPU 0
Buffalo Knights (5-7) v Atlantic Great Whites (4-8)
Buffalo needs to win here, although a loss doesn’t kill their playoff chances outright. AGW also has an outside shot still, but they need to run the table. Tanzania Lumberjacks (5-7) v Awendaw Toadfish (2-10)
Don’t sleep on TL, they aren’t done yet. Awendaw is also not done in SEA, they can still pick up another win to avoid relegation. I kinda expect TL to go El Topo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceHH3QGXvNw in this one. TL 34, Awendaw 14
