Found this cool little site. It's free to play (4 games at a time). It's basically the old game Risk put online with TONS of custom boards etc. If you enjoy world domination, these games are fun and don't take much time.

Anyway, take it for what it's worth...

Just another way we can destroy each other!

How ironic coming from someone on a message board for another online game about dots...lol

It's alright, I know where I stand as I only play around with this stuff when I have dead time during working hours. Otherwise I'm coaching little league, fishing, hunting, scuba diving or playing tournament level softball as I try to reclaim my ole glory days from baseball.

this is the only reason I want children tbh. I volunteer at the Y to coach in different sports but the kids are all terrible and their parents are even worse, damn inter-city youth.

The kids are easy, the parents are the hard part when it comes to youth sports. Nothing like a parent fighting to let their kid pitch and the kid looking at you like, "I don't need to be out there." then you put him in to get the parents off your back and the kid ends up beaning 5 kids in a row where the other parents are now yelling at you to take them out. In the end, the poor kid who wanted nothing to do with it ends up crushed and you look like you had no clue. I've only coached baseball as that was my main sport growing up, but i'm sure problem parents are universal...

The best ones are the ones who want their kid to play the best positions yet never bring them to practice...

As an ex-player, coach and parent it is my experience that if one gives in to that kind of stuff it's their own fault what happens after that. Sometimes a coach has to talk to the parent in the same way they talk to the kids. Most people respond to an assertive coach and if they don't you don't want their kid on your team anyway.

I agree. I've never let a parent dictate anything to me when I was head coach. As an assistant though I've seen weaker coaches go that route and no one wins. Right now we have just moved up from tball to coach pitch so it's pretty fun. Funny though, some of the better tball hitters can't hit live stuff and kids like my son who didn't hit great off a tee is killing it. Then again, I started him as soon as he could hold a bat swinging at whiffle balls while we watched tv.
