Makes perfect sense. Equipment should come standard. Do away with colors, it adds nothing but unnecessary coding to the game. It's a football game, not a fashion show.
Most damning of all, for someone to see the color of your equipment they have to care enough to go all the way to a player EQ page and see it there, and 99.999% of people just don't give a flying rats ass about your, or anyone else's EQ color.
That 0.001% who do care about color need to log off and go play with their bratz dolls.
