Stack the SA's obviously.

I'm just looking for opinions. The stats above are about what I am aiming for, just wondering what others think.

Thanks

And have a DC that's willing to let you get pancaked on almost every run play.

LOL - no.

Put him at RDE and he will be one of your best run defenders, could even be in running for defensive MVP 2 seasons in a row.

That's if he gets the snap jump. If he doesn't get a good jump he'll get pancaked easily with 85 strength. I know that from experience.

He'll blow up some plays but on others he'll get blocked easily.

The other thing is you can't get DEs positioned nearly as wide as you used to be able to.

Thats not really true. Ive played with 88 str on my RE and he would only get pancaked a few times a game if that.

He doesn't have to get that wide if you do it right as a DC.

They do get pancaked a little more than other DTs, but it's still typically only about 1 out of every 10 defensive plays.

This is just my experience. I've had a 120/105/80 guy in the WL and he got pancaked a ridiculous amount. That could have something to do with morale but I think strength played a large part.

reg, don't take this the wrong way, but your DE has never been in the WL. Things are fine in Pro but when you go up against the best builds I don't think 85 strength is enough to avoid the pancakes.

You'd be surprised what you can get away with as far as 80+ strength. It works, but I don't know if it'll keep working after this season.

That being said... none of my DE's will have less than 110 strength end-game.

Because 120 speed isn't enough if you only have 80-85 strength.

What were his other attributes and how long ago was he in the WL? That's not really what I consider a WL caliber build.
