Your agility is as high as it ever needs to go unless the sim changes radically. I'd actually like to see more speed, since mine from that creation date is up over 90 natural, but the extra carrying is nice. Your best bet is probably to aim for a combo back with Spin & break tackle AEQ as your other two pieces, eventually getting strength up to ~60 and stamina to 60+. Add some catching + YAC Attack on top of that and he'll be deadly.

First HB. How am I doing so far?
Not bad, though I'd have taken agility to 81 at least before hitting carrying after that.
Still, better than about 90% of the builds out there.

Terrible advice. What does taking agility to 81 get you? Carrying is more important than agility for any type of back, including elusive.

Do you ever stop spouting off incorrect bullshit? Just as I said, you post something correct about twice/year. A posting hiatus would be a wonderful thing for you. Remember, a fool speaks because he has to say something, while a wise man speaks because he has something to say.
To explain why Bolick is wrong yet again, 4th-capped carrying is sufficient for any back, unless you want to substantially limit your build for the future for the sake of fumbling 1-2 times less per season. The extra agility causes an elusive back to be able to make cuts more easily and use Spin more effectively on defenders. Of course, an elusive back needs great top-end speed to hit the hole. But an elusive back needs great agility to shake defenders when he hits the hole. Not saying carrying's not important, but saying that it's more important than agility reeks of ignorance.
Good DCs are going to have a player in place just waiting for your HB. Speed won't help you juke, but agility sure will.
I've spoke my piece, so I'm gone from this thread. Good luck with your build, OP. You do have a nice thing going on.

Thanks to both of you. I appreciate the advice. But please don't stop arguing. It really brought some excitement to this thread.

InLondonWeTrust what qualifies you to give out any build advice? Stick to GD imo.
jdbolicks advice is better than yours but still not what I would particularly do

Are you honestly so oblivious that you haven't noticed that no one respects your opinion or believes that you have significant knowledge of this game? Whenever someone posts about you in relation to the sim, it's generally to mock your failures. Meanwhile I'm widely respected for my knowledge of the sim, regardless of how people feel about my posting style. Stick to General Discussion where you can pretend that you're always correct instead of posting about the sim, where you can easily be proven ignorant.

Carrying does help with fumbles (and knocked loose), but far more importantly, it's also essential for breaking tackles and performing fakes.

It's funny to see you talk about the sim while mimicking the way people write about the NFL. In GLB, runners don't "shake defenders when (they hit) the hole." Agility does help with maintaining speed while changing direction, but Quick Cut is the first SA on the elusive tree, and a few SPs in that will be far, far more effective than spending 20+ to keep pushing the agility attribute.

No, it's accurate. Most of the time I just ignore your nonsense, but I feel compelled to speak up and correct you whenever you're giving bad advice that will affect the performance others get from the money they spend on dots.

Agility and carrying are both involved in the Juke roll.

Or you could go speed 87, then carrying 83 and then agility 81 and you'll actually still have plenty of sp for make a great back.
I'm in the minority who think you can have both fake and break tackle aeq's and succeed.
I really want to see a back with 9's in the sa tree and 2 pc break tackles and 2 pc fake chance

I kinda hate jd but I also kinda agree that agility is overrated (unfortunately) for HBs. So much of fakes are based on VA stacks and the correct defender approach angle tbh.
My 70 agi WR cuts fine. 80 agi is a solid goal for HBs, which mikie's guy will easily get.
