This is more just a thread out of frustration, I've been building this guy for a year, and I'm pretty close to the build I wanted. Still he is totally ineffective though.

Oh well.

All DTs are ineffective pass rushers in this SIM. However, would probably be better off moving about 10 pts of equipment from agility to strength. I've seen 120 strength/115 agility DTs doing fairly well, but that's about the highest agility to strength ratio I've seen perform with a 235 total.

it seems that strength DTs are the only way to go. You can't really get creative with it unfortunately.

not like they are really that effective at pass rushing either. I mean, yes they do get hurries, but hurries still don't have a huge effect vs. good high level QBs.

Look at his gamelog. 39 hurries (that's great) 1 sack, and all the games were fairly competitive by GLB standards

Bort thinks great DTs should just be happy rev caking OL and getting 2-3 tackles per game when teams run up the middle.

My DT doesn't get too many hurries either, but that's because 99.9% of all WL passes are screens these days.
I'm exaggerating obviously... but yeah you get the point.

I didn't build him with the intention of rushing the passer though. Only sacks he gets are against Pro teams...

So when are you going to bring Fats to dat Blaze and bring Massive and Fats together once again?

He's not getting too much pressure either and he's the one who is supposed to get dem sacks/hurries.

he was 134 str 92 agility 84 speed 68 vision with 10 SB/FS/TV and 2 BB% pieces... he never did much his last two seasons in the world league (with Monowi Wowi and then with Algoma Hugo Reefers). At first he was more agility (like 115 str/110 agility type) but I eventually said screw it and just dumped it all in strength.
