General Information
Welcome to the 10th Annual Casual Addicts Tournament.
Who is Eligible:
The season 19 tournament will be open to Casual League Pro, AAA, and AA teams only. Any team may apply; however, we may only take 16.
Tournament Description:
Two stages : Group and Elimination.
Group Stage:
There will be 8 Groups with 4 teams in each group totaling 32 total teams (We can add more if demand is high enough). The Top 16 teams will be placed in separate groups. The remaining 16 teams will be randomly assigned to a group.
The Max Amount of games a team would play is 7. (3 in group play, 4 for the elimination section).
There will be a three day window for each game to be scheduled which allows plenty of time for the tournament to conclude before the regular GLB playoffs.
Tentative Schedule of play:
GROUP PHASE
Game 1: .... days 1-3
Game 2: .... days 4-6
Game 3: .... days 7-9
ELIMINATION ROUNDS
Round of sixteen: .. days 10-12
Quarter-Finals: ...... days 13-15
Semi-Finals: .......... days 16-18

Group Stage Scoring:
-- W = 3 points
-- W in OT = 2 points
-- L in OT = 1 point
-- T = 1 point
If tied at end of group stage:
1st Tiebreak: Number of Regulation W's
2nd Tiebreak: Point Differential
3rd Tiebreak: Number of Points Scored.
Elimination Round:
The Top 2 teams in each seed will advance to the elimination round. The elimination round will look like the below graphic.

Scrimmage Rules
When you set up the scrimmage please select these and only these options:

[ ] Results are viewable by the participants only
[x] Use playoff-style overtime rules
[ ] Enable home team abilities
[x] Enable salary-based morale bonuses
General Rules
– You will schedule your own matches
– If a GM signs a team up, verification will be made with Owner
– A PM will be sent to owner upon sign-up to verify T.O.C. of the Casual Addicts Tournament.
– You must schedule these scrimmages within the 3 day window provided above (failure to do so may result in a forfeit)
– Each match will cost the team owner 25 Flex Points
– Once a match is scheduled, it cannot be unscheduled, and there are no Flex Point refundsPrizes:

When signing up, please include your team URL, Season 19 league affiliation and Season 18 record/League Affiliation. This thread will be locked and pool will be set when we reach 32 teams. Any additional information (historical, etc) you wish to provide is also acceptable. In addition post that you agree to the TOC Terms of Participation.
