Apologies to Alpha - I'm just too lazy to put in the extra effort and do these for both conferences. I'm sure a lot of people won't agree with my assessment but I hope to at least generate some talk during preseason
ZETA Power Rankings - Pre-Season
1) C-Town MF'n Hood
Stumbled out of the starting gate last season but recovered well to finish 13-3. Loss a close one to Odessa in the conference championship. The team to beat in Zeta and their agents are happy to let the rest of the league know it. Avg Player Value of 1120.7 show that they have the talent to back up their words.
2) Black Hand Gods Of War
jesusmp2000 runs a good team that competes every season. 13-3 last year. Should have a good shot at representing in the Conference championship
3) Russian Revolution
Surprised all of EE three seasons ago with their Cinderella run out of the 8th seed. Their 11-5 record last season was a bit disappointing for team coming back from WL. Their Avg Player Value of 1138.8 indicates the team has talent. Definitely a team to watch
4) Black Sea Storm
Tied for 3rd best all time winning percentage in EE Pro history. Might not be a one of the premiere teams but can cause problems if underestimated.
5) Kosovo Kryptonite
Young team were able to fight out a 7-9 record in their first season in Pro. They'll look to improve on that with their 1109.51 Avg Player Value. Should put up a good fight for the last playoff spot.
6) Weapons of Mass Dotstruction
7-9 and mediocre last season. Avg Player Value of 1119.15 and overall chem at 59 has me thinking these guys reloaded and might be this season's darkhorse
7) Holland Pinoy All Stars Srs
Went 9-7 last season. Seem to be stuck in their role as a middle of the pack team that finds a way to squeeze into the playoffs every season. Avg Player Value of 1052.49 with a younger roster that should be more mature come playoffs
8) The Hague Hustlers
Probably the best new team to join us in pro. Went 15-1 in AAA last season. Young team with potential. Might be able to battle for a playoff spot
9) Krakow Ice Dragons
8-8 last season. With a 1045.7 Avg Player Value I think these guys will have trouble making the playoffs.
10) Lviv Lions
Another average looking new team. 14-2 in AAA but arriving to Pro with an Avg Player Value of 1027.19. I wouldn't expect more than 4 or 5 wins
11) Metz Metal Militia
13-3 in AAA last season. They have no business being in Pro and will be everyone's whipping boy.
12) Prince Rupert Drunken Donkeys
Welcome to Pro - this might get ugly. Looks like they held their own in AAA last season with a 13-3 record. They have a young roster and will improve but don't expect more than 4 or 5 wins.
13) Stalingrad Gryphon Army
Who invited these guys back? 4-12 last season. Well at least the new guys have an older team to gun for.
14) The Package Handlers
11-5 in AAA. Expect to be handled in Pro with your Avg Player Value of 1011.34.
15) Wolfenstein Werewolves
Were these guys in EEPro last season - I don't even remember them. Looks like they stunk the place up with their 2-14 record.
16) Vanuatu Kava Sharks
Garbage. These guys have CPU players on their roster. Look like they are coming over from Casual Pro. I'm guessing a pattern of 0-255 might soon be appearing on their team page
